We were arriving with little expectations as some reviews also were quite critical - we spent one night and can only say that the hotel is every single dollar worth! Comparing to the crazy prices around the Aloft Hotel offers absolutely good quality for this price - we asked for late checkout and got an offer for 38 USD - this is absolutely reasonable for being able to stay in the room till 5 pm before heading to the airport! Very friendly staff, comfortable beds and excellent towels (not granted in Mexico)

Great place to stay if you’re not opting for an all-inclusive hotel. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of eateries and restaurants nearby. The rooftop swimming pool is a great bonus! However, one lift malfunctions and randomly stops at different floors—hopefully, the management fixes it soon. Overall, a good stay

Nice, clean, modern, and updated rooms. Friendly staff. Conveniently located to all kinds of shopping and dining. Free open bar from 11-11 at the rooftop pool, playing great Latin sounds. Full buffet breakfast included, too. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good a/c. Great shower and towels. Rooms could use a few more electrical outlets and perhaps a work desk. But it did have a little two sided booth like sitting area with a small table. Small fridge, but there is one. Also, has a safe. Only drawback is that the elevators are slow, but you get a chance to talk with your fellow travelers while waiting, lol.

Aloft Cancun 5/5 Excellent I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel, and I wanted to commend you on an excellent experience. The facilities are modern, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable, making the accommodation truly enjoyable. The location is another highlight—being within walking distance of Cancun's vibrant nightlife is a major advantage. It allowed me to explore the area easily while returning to a peaceful and cozy retreat. Thank you for your hospitality! I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

Aloft is in a great location with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Public access to the beach was 5 mins away. The staff was great, too. The rooms were comfortable enough. The bathroom door was on backwards; it was hard to close from the inside without a handle. I read reviews prior to coming that rated the hotel rooms “not clean” and while there was a renegade hair and a stringy thing on the floor in the shower, I found everything else to be clean. My disappointment lie in the rooftop pool and bar. Stop the “free drinks from 11-11” and get some decent furniture up there. The ones there must have been chosen so that no one would linger long. Give a free drink and charge for any others. Put up a free tables with umbrellas. What is there now is sad and pathetic.
