We had the most incredible stay at Anantara Bophut, Samui. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was flawless. Every member of staff, from the front desk to housekeeping and even the grounds team, greeted us with warmth and professionalism. The service felt world-class, attentive without ever being intrusive. The location is unbeatable. Set on a beautiful stretch of beach, the resort is just a short stroll from Fisherman’s Village, which has all the nightlife, dining and atmosphere you could want in Samui. It strikes the perfect balance between peaceful luxury inside the resort and vibrant energy just minutes away. A special mention must go to Sandy in Guest Relations. Her exceptional attitude and genuine care elevated our entire experience. She went above and beyond to make my daughter’s 21st birthday unforgettable. From thoughtful touches to personal attention, her skill and warmth made us feel truly valued. Anantara Bophut exceeded our expectations in every way. Elegant surroundings, impeccable service, and a team that genuinely cares. We will absolutely return and recommend it wholeheartedly.♥️♥️

We loved this resort, it’s so clean and beautiful. Overall, the staff is very friendly and extremely attentive. They provide lots of updates and support as needed. It’s such a great experience and the breakfast is amazing! You are walking distance to fisherman’s village which is a nice area for restaurants and shopping. This was great for us as we were able to explore outside of the resort as well. Only thing to note is that there are better beaches on the island. The beach at the resort is clean and nice but the water is not as clear as other beaches. Finally, the laundry prices are quite high and you pay per item which was not ideal for us. The room service was pretty good though and we ended up ordering in almost everyday.

Wow, where to start. Let’s start with the very few cons…. Laundry is expensive and so is the bar & restaurant (and in-room dining) but that should be expected from such a high-class hotel like this. The rooms are so well lay out. Perfectly sized and all have a good view over the main stream running down the middle of the hotel garden. Showers are big, well - pressured, hot. You will never have a problem with the staff over here, they are so kind, understanding, speak really good English and are so helpful, down from needing more toilet paper, to scheduling a new flight, they are willing to help and do it all with a smile . Location is great, just close enough to the hustle and bustle whilst being quiet at the same time, 3 minute walk to the market and is definitely my favourite ever hotel!!

This hotel exceeded expectations! We were on a multi-generational family vacation, and the needs and desires of every family member was fully met. The hotel and grounds are beautiful (website does not do it justice) and the friendly service is impeccable. The rooms are spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds, amazing showers, and great amenities like complimentary bottled water, daily snacks adjusted to your taste, adorable balcony/reading nook, even a stuffed animal for the kids!). It felt very safe - no issue letting the kids find their own way - and very convenient to Fisherman's Village restaurants and markets. The spa is equally beautiful and tranquil, with true professionals working spa magic with the treatments. Highly recommend the daily breakfast buffet and the pool bars as well. The beach's sand is not as fine as the eastern side of the island but the view is still gorgeous and all of the same beach amenities are available without the more aggressive vibe. Great way for adults to enjoy themselves yet still plenty of activities for all. Thank you, Anantara!

My honest review after 6 nights stay in Anantara Bophut the greatest thing about this hotel is the location. Other than that staff is really nice and attentive. But that is pretty much it. We travel in Asia a lot and there are amazing 5 star resorts in Thailand, this particular one is not one of them. Food , especially breakfast is pretty boring, same thing every day. Not a great choice. Bread was always stale, very little cheese varieties, no smoked salmon or egg Benedict. Baked goods taste like bought in a cheap grocery store. There are 2 restaurants, super pricey, food is average. Facilities are not the best too, smallish resort with one pool which is not big. Pool area is crowded. Towels are old and need to be replaced. Beach is not the best in Koh Samui but that is not the resorts fault. They have couple of kayaks and paddle boards on the beach but no one is there to help if you want to use them. No life guard on the beach.
