Our stay at Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort was simply fantastic! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the cliffs and the sea. The view from the restaurant was fantastic. We especially want to highlight the extremely helpful staff in the restaurant – Milk, Wa, Bird, Jay, and Kan truly made our stay memorable with their friendly and attentive service. The breakfast offers a wide variety and high quality. The pool area is perfect for relaxing, and the resort is ideal for families with children. We also really enjoyed the daily activity program, which includes yoga and more.

The view was absolutely stunning, and the staff were incredibly kind! The breakfast selection was limited, but it was delicious. The curry tasted even better than the ones you usually buy, and everything from the salad to the drinks was truly delightful. Chef Sanjay and Natty’s service left such a strong impression on me. I’ll never forget enjoying breakfast with that breathtaking ocean view.

The basic rooms are very old, without sound proofing so all the noise from the main street is with you in the room. The pictures don't represent the resort as most of the place is much older than what you see in the images of the newer main building. They where nice enough to move us rooms which where much better so they do have range.

Such a beautiful, serene setting with stunning views out to the picturesque cliffs and ocean as you laze by the infinity pool - perfect for a relaxing getaway, Avani Ao Nang Cliff Resort is a great hotel choice. The staff and service were impeccable during our recent trip, nothing was too much trouble and if we were in need of something extra, not on menu or an adjustment to original plans we need only ask. Avani’s location is wonderful in that once inside you are swept away from the hustle and bustle of town life but walking down to street level you are in the heart of all the action of Ao Nang and a five minute walk to the beach. Could not recommend more.

What truly makes a place beautiful isn’t just the location—it’s the people, especially the staff when it comes to a hotel experience. Unfortunately, if you're curious about how poor hospitality can overshadow a decent setting, this place might serve as a prime example. While the location itself is quite scenic, the way the property is constructed demands a lot of walking and climbing. This can be quite exhausting, especially during check-in when guests are unprepared for interacting with the staff. The staff, regrettably, were not welcoming. Interactions felt more like confrontations, and instead of offering assistance, they came across as dismissive and, at times, even harassing. It’s disheartening when a conversation with hotel staff leaves you feeling more stressed than supported. As for the reception area gives you feel of budget backpacker hostel than a premium resort. In short..If you can enjoy your stay here without needing to interact with the staff, it could actually be a wonderful experience—the setting has real potential. But the moment you need assistance or basic hospitality, the charm quickly fades.
