This is a good Hotel with excellent staff and service. The room is very spacious, clean with good facilities. The Hotel has a rooftop pool and an indoor pool as well, with a steam room and sauna, all free to use. The location is brilliant and a walking distance to the marina and city centre. We spent 5 nights at the hotel in February and would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at AX Palace Malta was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and professional staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The hotel itself is stunning, offering a perfect balance of luxury and coziness. Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The housekeeping team did an excellent job of maintaining cleanliness and comfort throughout our visit. We were particularly impressed with the exceptional service—every staff member we encountered was polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable. Whether at the reception, restaurant, or spa, we always felt well taken care of. Speaking of the restaurant, the dining experience was exquisite! The food was fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully. The breakfast selection was varied and catered to all tastes, providing a great start to each day. The hotel’s location is also ideal, offering easy access to key attractions, shopping areas, and public transport. Plus, the facilities, including the rooftop pool and spa, added an extra layer of relaxation to our stay. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our time at AX Palace Malta. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-tier experience in Malta. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Excellent location in Sliema. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable and huge! (two doubles put together). All facilities were very clean. We enjoyed our stay but have not given full 5 stars as our air con didn’t work properly so the room was often too warm. Also the indoor poor is advertised in the welcome brochure/website as being open until 9pm, but when we visited at 8pm it was closed. We did enjoy the indoor pool on a different day though and the facilities with sauna and steam room were lovely.

Great location. The standard room is quite spacious. Bath. Slippers. Robe. The cheapest coffee and tea in the room. No clothes dryer. The ringing of bells outside the window. The staff is very polite and helpful. There is an indoor pool, but it is quite small. Many shops around. Overall everything is good, but I'm not sure that this hotel is worth 5 stars.

Great Hotel in a perfect location. I had a beautiful sweet with fabulous views over the city and to the harbour. Rain was large and the bathroom was very big. The bathroom had a bath and a shower with a twin sink. It felt luxurious.
