I visited in July 2024 and this was my second time in Malta. The hotel and the warm welcome received was exceptional. Outstanding service and facilities. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I cannot wait to come back as this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! A special thank you to the brilliant Alessandro at Elite Coiffeur Hair Salon. He has done a brilliant job and until now I’ve people commenting on my hair and asking me where I got it done! Thank you for making our holiday feel so special!!!

Exceptional Service and Unforgettable Stay – Thanks to Katerina and the Team After a terrible experience at another hotel, we were relieved the moment we walked into the Intercontinental St. Julian’s, thanks to the incredible service provided by Katerina. Katerina went above and beyond to ensure that my family and I were not only comfortable but truly happy during our stay. Katerina’s attention to detail and warm hospitality made a massive impression, not just on me and my wife but also on our children. My wife rarely wants to return to the same place twice, but after such an amazing experience, we’re already planning our next stay for next year. The standard of service from every single employee was second to none, and the facilities were a perfect 10/10. We especially loved the incredible breakfast on the seventh floor, as well as both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, which were fantastic for both relaxation and family fun. Thank you, Katerina, and the entire team, for making our stay truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!

The hotel requires a deposit which is to be returned after a maximum of 14 business days. Even though more than 3 weeks have passed, the deposit has not been returned to me despite my intervention. Half board dinners are served at the table. The choice is limited and repetitive. For a 5-star hotel, there should be a buffet and better customer care.

The staff at the hotel could not have been any friendlier. I booked a weekend stay incl free night (platinum perk) and we got a fabulous upgrade to a lovely suite. There isn’t much of a view but given that the street outside is quite ‘lively’ we didn’t mind. The small private beach has small stones not sand but there is not a lot they can do about this. The sea side Italian seafood restaurant was excellent. Lovely bathroom toiletries, fluffy towels and comfortable beds

We've just spent 5 days here and overall it was good. The staff were all superb. Always a smile and a friendly greeting from the cleaners to the managers. We had a meal at the Al Fresco restaurant, on the 7th floor. 100% could not fault it. The staff, food and atmosphere was great. First time eating rabbit and loved it. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the swordfish was delicious. Overall the only downfall was that the room was not the best. Under both beds it was filthy with clumps of dust and previous residents complimentary slippers. Marks on the walls and ceiling and the curtains could do with a steam clean. I'm also convinced the mattress had gone on one bed and a deep topper was laid over it. We also noticed that the corridor never got hoovered.
