We are having a great time staying in Malta Merriott Resort & Spa! It sits on high ground overlooking Balluta Bay, our favorite part of Malta, our favorite spot in Malta for short getaways or extended stays. Once you step out of Merriott, you face the dilemma of turning left or right, both offering nice sidewalks along the beach, with plenty of bars and restaurants on both sides of the street. This time of year is truly one of the best to visit, mild sunshine during the day and gentle breeze during the night, temperatures peak around 25°C and cool down to a comfortable 20°C. You can also indulge without ever leaving the hotel. There are nice restaurants and room service, heated pools with bubbling jacuzzi, fully equipped gym, spa, and a lounge on top level with beautiful views, and it’s open 24 hours! No matter where you go, you will be taken care of by friendly staff from many different countries. Don’t be surprised if Alex the general manager greets you with a warm handshake and a big smile! The management makes a lot of effort accommodating its guests. They don’t check you the mean way as if you were trying to steal their breakfast. Parking is hassle-free, with garages both in the front and back, and exit gates that often lift automatically for easy departure. And the lifts, or the elevators, are worth mentioning. They are programmed in a way that you almost always get your own private ‘car’. It’s unique, private, and fun like a game!

Great view with clean and spacious rooms. The staff were also very helpful and parking was free of charge. The pool on the higher floor was not heated at the time of our visit, but there is plenty to do in Malta so we didn't make much use of it anyway. The lounge was quite nice here too, with the decent view you have from the terrace and rooftop area. In terms of view, there was some construction being done nearby so it wasn't stunning but it was a good balance of the nature and architecture of Malta.

My wife and I have just celebrated our 30th anniversary at this hotel after 2 weeks of travel through Italy. The hotel, location and its staff were excellent. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in to the moment we had to depart. Whether we were using the Spa, ordering food or just general interactions, the staff (even meeting the GM Alex in one of the lifts) were delightful. Our room was spacious with a lovely ocean view. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel for anyone travelling to Malta!

Our stay at the Marriott in Malta was brilliant. The check in went very fast as there were multiple desks available. The girls I believe Samaira and Esme were amazing at their job and very helpful the whole time. They followed us through the entire stay and made it even better. Also the M-Club staff was always helpful. The cleanliness of the rooms could be better as there were still crumbs on the floor when we came back in the room. We would love to come back to this hotel in the future for sure! Mela thank you 😊

Had very nice stay till the very end. Specially mention The M club staff Christina super friendly and welcoming…. BUT BUT BUT for checking out, standing in the queue for a long time because the staff told the system has an issue, but then two customers came to talk and started helping checking in. I mean 3 staff clearly saw us standing there for a long time and just letting others cutting the queue is really not professional!
