I stayed here in May 2024. I guess it's good I read the reviews 1st because they were not great so I was expecting an old looking resort, horrible customer service and bad food all on a very nice beach. WELL the reviews got the beach correct. Everything else that was said was very wrong though. Most of the staff I came in contact with were very pleasant. I enjoyed all the meals every day. The building could use some updating but the other reviews made it seem like the place was rundown. My room had a balcony with a beautiful view of the water. This resort is so relaxing. I'm not a beach water person (love to sun bathe) but the water temperature was so perfect that I spent a long time in the water. Long story short, I had a great time and already looking to go back and stay at Barbados beach club.

Fantastic location, food quite alright, rooms clean with good air con, lovely beach with WiFi, all in all forget the negative people, it’s not 5 star but it’s not 5 star money, would I come back absolutely, family or couples you won’t go far wrong here .

A good 3 star hotel. The rooms are OK and everything was working. The food is really nice as well. Most of the staff were really friendly and nice but a few were a bit grumpy. A smile never hurts anyone.
The Manager is really trying to improve the hotel and he's very friendly and approachable

The hotel is not in the best place .. there is an accessible beach, but we found it quite rough compared with Pebbles Beach.
The pool is basic (note nearly 2.5 meters deep at one end.
It was quiet when we stayed (mid-August 2024), and the food was okay. we found the posted menu was not always what was on offer.. you will need to ask for the burger and hotdogs ( the also have ice cream available on request)
It is close to the airport (20 minutes dependant on traffic). The fish fry Friday is in Oistins and walkable (about a mile). Enjoy the rum!
The on-site gym is very basic! .. no tredmills.
A big win is the staff, helpful, approachable, and always had
a smile. (Thank you!).
There is an ATM in Oistins, and the reggae bus stop is a short walk to the H7.. this will take you to Bridgetown or Oistins.
I strongly suggest an early visit to Pebbles Beach just short of Bridgetown (jump on a reggae bus BB$3.25 per person each trip and time of review) .. you can book a sun bed from harbour lights for US$ 10 for the day (they can also take you
for a turtle snorkel, too).
All in all, would I stay here again ... no, the staff was a big win, but next time, I will be at a room only near Pebble beach.

Catfish photos. You could tell that the hotel has seen better days. However, it is obvious that the maintenance of the facilities has been overlooked. Cleanliness is also another issue. I think the hotel's management really need to do a number on the place. It has potential but poor management and staff training is its downfall.
On the note of the service, I chose to give it 2 stars simply because of two positive staff interactions - Ashley and Gibson who work in the restaurant/ kitchen. I was particularly touched by Mr. Gibson going out of the way to ensure that the food we ate met our religious stipulations. However, if it were not for those two, I would have given it no stars. Other staff are sometimes rude and this is not a good show of Bajan hospitality. They are also unwilling to help and sometimes leave you wondering what solutions you have available to you.
It's also important to note that the all-inclusive is not necessarily worth it. There is not much variety and they are strict to the timings of their meal services. I understand that it would be wasteful to have buffet services if occupancy is low in the hotel. Nevertheless, the a la carte menu needs work.
Contrastingly, the location is pretty strategic and is close to most places of interest. It has direct access to the beach. Apropos water sports, there were a lack of these if you're seeking some adventure.
TLDR: I wouldn't stay there again.
