For a start this place is MASSIVE. It is situated conveniently between the marina and the ferry port, a short walking distance to both.
The rooms are excellent with a huge bed. My only issue was when you come out of the shower , you are in the lounge, ok if you're not shy 😊
The pool is huge, 1 side heated and the other not. Tons of beds, great pool bath sheets (free) and a couple of poolside bars.
There is a theatre, Mexican restaurant, gym and a couple of lounge bars and a sports bar.
The buffet restaurant has two large areas, both serving the same food.
My only gripe is there aren't enough people serving food so you are waiting and your food is getting cold. There is a microwave and you need to use it really.
Good selection of English and continental breakfasts and salads, plus fruit.
1 tip, acquire some HP brown sauce sachets when you're out and about in the bars along the front as its always running out in the hotel restaurant.
ALL staff are very friendly and polite.
The hotel is very clean and modern with well kept gardens.
Would I stay here again?.....Yes I think I would 👍🏻😊

Wow ! What a hotel. From check in, to check out nothing is too much trouble.
The staff are very polite and very hardworking.
Our room was spotless, large and had everything you could need.
Meal's, well if you couldn't find anything here you liked, give up on life now !
Yes it gets chaotic and the food stations could do with a better arrangement.
The pool is massive, split into two heated and non heated. The non heated was getting invaded by seagulls, the staff did there best to deter them. Perhaps a hawk kite would be a better deterrent than the half dozen plastic owls ?
Would I return? Yes, most definitely.

My Dad, Partner and I went here for Christmas and it was incredible!! The hotel is huge and it’s still so modern. There is so much seating and lots of food and drinks options. The wine and sangria was included in the all inclusive, so that was great to drink at night. You never have to worry about a space around the pool. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were comfy. The breakfast buffet is a real treat, it’s so relaxing to sit outside in the breeze and heat. The lunch and dinner buffets were pretty good, but not always consistently great. The lamb on the curry night was delicious and the desserts were always tasty. You can exit out a side gate to go straight to a well developed promenade and a brief walk from a good shopping centre. The Namaste restaurant there was delicious. The hotel is next to a pleasant beach too. You can actually walk all the way from the hotel to a lighthouse on the South East of the island. It takes about 90 minutes, but it makes for a nice day activity. You have to pay for the Spa, but it’s so worth it. The sauna and steam room were lovely and the pool was slightly warmed, so it was very relaxing. The gym is a good size and there’s enough to keep you happy for a week. I’d really love to come back to this hotel or try another newly built hotel from Barcelo. The only small issue we had was getting someone at reception to offer to help when we were at the front of the queue. It was almost like each member of staff were hoping their colleague would take the next person. It was confusing, because there were always 8 people at reception. When someone did help us he started finishing off the processing of the previous guests, so it meant our check in took 30 minutes.

So good I’ll go back….. The hotel does provide the wow factor with everywhere looking spotless. The Royal level is a good walk from reception with the option to jump on an electric buggy. Rooms are a very good size with everything you need for a relaxing stay, only downside is the lack of privacy for a shower. Beds are huge and comfy ensuring you get a good nights sleep. The infinity pool is fab but let down by the other guests booking sun beds and using them infrequently. There are plenty of sun beds at the main pool where it seems less manic with more guests though. Management needs to experience the main restaurant to understand why it’s so disorganised there’s bits all over the place in three rooms. There seems to be a complete lack of tables meaning people are wandering around. Food is not fabulous with very limited options for us veggies. If you’re vegan, good luck with that. The hotel offers great views across the marina. Bars seem under staffed with large queues in the evening, if you’re paying then prices seem reasonable. Evening entertainment at the Champ bar needs improving.
