Barceló Tenerife Royal Level

We stayed 14 nights in a Royal Level Deluxe Room (which is the standard double bed room). Overall the experience was exceptional. Especially the staff members is what made the experience so nice. This was not our first stay with Barceló and we mostly always figured that the staff members is what give the experience the last 10 percent of perfection. In two weeks we never really had to wait more that 1-2 minutes until a waiter took our order, may it be in the restaurant or at the pools. Everyone we interacted was highly professional and attentive to detail (like if your drinks were empty you were promptly offered a refill). Especially we want to highlight the two ladies which served us at the Royal Level Restaurant several times (one of which was Carmen) and Jose Ramon from the Breeze Bar Restaurant all of which even stood out from the already very high service level. Also the entire resort area was very well laid out and beautiful. The royal level area was very well sized for the amount of people at time of our visit. Apart from one day we hadn’t any problems finding a space and there was plenty left. Even though we didn’t stay there we also had the opinion that the “Non Royal Level” Area had enough space for everybody, especially due to the fact that it stretches over several pools allowing for people to spread. Lastly we always find it nice that you enjoy a true all Inclusive with everything included you can wish for, may it be Buffet- and A-la-Carte Restaurants, alcoholic beverages, Softdrinks, made to order lunch from the bar etc. The only room for improvement was the cleaning of the bubble spray jets of the bathtub (which we could resolve by just switching it on once before using). However that didn’t really bothered us too much. All in all a very nice, relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will surely return to this and other Barceló ventures soon.

C - Drone - W Staffordshire (Cal)

4th Visit ! We cheekily emailed to ask for the same room as last year as we loved the location and easy access to get to the pool … as soon as we check in we mentioned it was a 4th visit to which one of the staff spoke up - you asked for room 1*1…. Won’t say as you will all want the same room ! Got fitted with our all inclusive bands ( which I will come back to at the end) and off we went straight to the food buffet as the flight was delayed it was 9:30 and the buffet is only on until 10pm …. There is so much choice to choose from and it changed daily with themed nights. Never has a bad meal and I count myself as a fussy eater - some of it even cooked fresh infront of you ! Big thanks to Alejandro ( so kind and Funny - puts you at ease - enjoy the sunglasses ) and Tomas - great service - as soon as we finished a drink Tomas was straight over to refill ! Such a nice environment! The rooms were perfect! Jacuzzi bath and very powerful shower ! X2 sinks and bath robes ! Very clean and spacious with a balcony ! We didn’t opt for house keeping everyday but if we walked past them in the halls they would always ask and offer fresh towels which I think is great ! Entertainment in the Plaza was great - with seeing most of the acts last year ( not all of them they are great ) we spent more time in the Top Bar ( B Lounge ) - they have singers / musicians on there each night which create a great vibe ! Flippo was great - telling us not to return glasses away as we were on holiday and it’s his job …. even coming to find us when we sat out the way to offer us a drink. Didn’t get the lady’s name but she was very friendly. Pool side … plenty of loungers that are comfy and no need to reserve as there are plenty of space and spares …. Cleaned every morning / night - 5 pool areas to choose from. However … Breeze bar ! What a great atmosphere and service. Big thanks to Yeray and Jose Ramon! Jose Ramon is an invaluable member of your team and I really hope he is valued and looked after ! Always there greeting you with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble. He never stands still he is so busy and always happy ! We enjoyed the holiday especially due to his service and smiles ! Because of him we ate at the Breeze Bar which is the food you have to pay for and it’s worth every penny not just the service but the food is delicious! Give Jose Ramon a pat on the back and a big thanks from us! 5 star Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from JR! Also for the all inclusive there is pool snacks throughout the day and even a food station for the late night snackers ! Filled with Sandwiches and yogurts and Branded Drinks ! We have a fantastic time ! Will definitely be back for a 5th time ! One huge downside / disappointment this time which can be corrected easily! Due to our package holiday we have to catch a late flight. So that means we check in on arrival day late ( 9pm ish ) so we have lost most of the day although your valued and ushered into the evening meal however check out is 12 which was never a problem until this stay….We were shocked this time to be told we need to cut your bands your checking out and your no longer all inclusive (dispite arriving at 9pm and loosing 6 hours of paid for all inclusive priverlages (check in at 3pm)… our pick up is 7pm and we have 7 hours to spend at the hotel where we have been told to pay for our own drinks and food ! Can you believe it ! The last 3 times we have kept the bands as a happy souvenir (also helped promote the hotel/barcelo group, free advertising whilst traveling back) but we’re also in the past able to use the facilities all day and attending the 1-3pm dinner slot as usual as part of the package holiday. I think you’re making a huge mistake upsetting the guests like this on check out ! It can tarnish your reputation! & quite frankly ruin what was an enjoyable stay. It came across to us … your not welcome here any more kind of vibe ( especially after putting up with a few days of overcrowding ….500 extra people who had a flight issue ). With that said we hope this is different next time! We will be back !

Lovely resort with the royal level adding luxury food and drink options in a quiet and tranquil setting separate from the rest of the resort. Excellent range of food options and traditional buffet and 24x7 snacks.

This hotel has exceeded all our expectations with its calm classy atmosphere,the staff are so friendly with exceptional table service from Samantha in the Royal level poolside bar .. the cocktails & nibbles amazing!!! Loved our suite & the food is beautiful with so much to choose from. Just love it, We will definitely be back.

Our second stay and even better this time, our first stay was before their official opening a year ago and was great, but this time, small improvements and it really was the perfect winter sun break, if you are happy with a peaceful hotel that never feels busy even though it was fully booked, good food and drinks with costal walks, I would thoroughly recommend, every member of staff was amazing, particularly Keny at royal level pool an absolute superstar, Samantha and Daniel too, every member of staff was so welcoming and helpful, I love how customer service is number one priority at this hotel. We will return I am sure.
