Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is well decorated and on the more luxurious end. The rooms are spacious and reasonably modern but a little tired and could use some refreshments and repairs. The air con could also use a little more power, it's just good enough to stay comfortable but not especially cool. The buffet for breakfast and dinner is great and has a great selection of high quality food and it changes every day which is great. One day we had sushi, another canaries style food it was great. The service is also friendly and high quality. The hotel is also very kid friendly which is nice. If I could I would score 4.5* mainly due to the somewhat run down rooms. Since I can't, I scored 5* as it's closer to 5 than 4.

An absolutely beautiful, well run hotel. The overall design, decor and relaxed ambience make this place truly special. Staff are fantastic and do everything they can do make your stay a great experience (Gabriella the concierge even giving me a lift to the ATM, to save me the walk - when I was in a rush to get cash).
Breakfast&dinner buffet are both of a high standard, and the nightly themes help to change it up a bit.
Pool area is one of the best I've experienced, no stress around getting sun beds, most people are respectful of the hotels policy, which means beds are always available. Plus it's just beautiful.
Rooms are great, most have superb views (sea/mountain) which ever side you are on. They are cleaned regularly to a great standard. Good a/c.

This hotel is truely fantastic. The staff are fabulous and very helpful and the amenities are great. Everything you need for a quiet, relaxing break. The hotel is huge and lots of pools, which are heated and cooler. Loads of sun beds and a lovely spa.
Buffet is vast with food selection and outside area is done very well with fairy lights everywhere making it beautiful to sit outside. The hotel is decorated beautifully and done well.
Would definitely recommend and will be returning for more winter sun.

This was an awesome experience! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I came here with a friend for her birthday and they treated us like royalty. They called every taxi, they recommended perfect restaurants to eat, they even gave us Champagne and dessert on her birthday!! The resort is located close to everything! If you plan to stay on the resort they have great food and plenty to do. The only negative is the pool closes at 7 but I found out that’s everywhere. I will definitely be back!! I want to take this time to thank everyone at La Plantación!!

We did not stay in this hotel but went for a meal at the restaurant. The hotel does themed buffet nights and we went for the Spanish night. As we arrived late we worried that food may have been left out for a while and cold but this was not the case. Food was lovely and there was the option to watch meat cooked in front of you. The selection was good and though the price for the buffet is expensive, you are welcome to as much or as little as you like. The most notable part of the meal has to be the service. As soon as a glass was empty it was refilled, one look at a waiter and they were with you, service genuinely does not get more attentive than here. The views from the restaurant are stunning, especially if you manage to sit near the edge. I would definitely recommend.
