This is our second time staying at this beautiful resort, and I hope it won't be the last. It's located on a lush and peaceful island with round-the-clock boat service to the mainland (about a 5 or 10 minute ride, depending on which dock is used). The villas are luxurious, with fantastic air conditioning and extremely comfortable beds, and we loved having our own private pool. Both of the main restaurants are great, but we primarily enjoyed the one serving Thai cuisine; everything was delicious and presented beautifully. We enjoyed many of the free activities offered by the resort including aqua gym, tennis, foosball, table tennis, darts, pool, water slides, fitness classes, and a walking tour of the island. Even if we hadn't left the island to do things on the mainland, we would have had an amazing vacation! I especially want to give a shout-out to the Coconut Island staff who made our stay truly special. At the beach bar, U-Nut, J-R, and Jack went above and beyond making sure that every member of our family was having a great week. At Kabang Restaurant, Kyle went out of his way to make sure that we got mango sticky rice on our final night. Every one of the servers, activities personnel, and reception staff greeted us with smiles and were happy to help with anything we needed. The setting of this resort is beautiful, but the people are what made staying here so magical.

The hotel and island is Amazing. You have a luxury arrival desk at the pier which take you over to the island. We arrived at night and were greeted with kind helpful staff. The arrival is magical!! ✨ We were treated with a free upgrade which was great!🙌 And they also added a child’s bedding our room which we did not even ask for. Attention to detail 👌 The staff can’t do enough for you!! Lots of choice food wise, breakfast food is a lot better than most hotels foods. Lots of activities on offer, the beach is clean and the water is calm and blue. 🏖️ There is a very good feel around the hotel and island, the staff, locals and guest are all very happy and chilled just the way we like it!

The service is warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Whether you need help, have a question, or simply want a friendly chat, the staff is always there with a smile. Barceló Coconut Island is a place where you can fully relax, knowing you’re in great hands. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Such a beautiful stay on Coconut Island for our last stop on our honeymoon! The room suite was luxurious, spacious and clean. There were a few bugs coming in to the room, but what can you expect in a subtropical environment. The staff were all very welcoming, helpful and attentive. A nice variety of food and drinks were offered at the restaurants which faced out to the beautiful bay. There were also a lot of entertainment shows happening each night which was unexpected! Would definitely recommend getting the all inclusive package because not much is nearby without having to get a taxi from the pier. Overall, such a beautiful stay!

Can’t recommend this place enough. Got the suite and it was beautiful and clean. The views are amazing. The beach and the pools are clean. The restaurants had some of the tastiest food I’ve had with reasonable pricing. The staff are friendly and hospitable and are always willing to help out and are honestly one of the highlights of the stay. The boat transfer to and fro the resort was comfy, punctual, and the staff were always willing to accommodate last minute changes in timing. Already considering coming back for another stay.
