Definitely will not repeat this hotel again.
Based on other reviews, they mentioned their room is spacious, but mine is opposite. Not recommended for the plus size. You can hardly walk around the room, as can be seen in the picture.
Having a great view facing the KLCC and KL Tower, however, the curtains are very dirty.
No complimentary drinks are provided except for 2 small drinking waters, and no soap is provided.
The old-fashioned theme, including the TV. It's like you watching the new drama but with the quality of a 90's image.

I am giving this hotel one more star for the sake of the staff service!
…
👍🏽lovely front desk staff
👍🏽helpful and good concierge attendants
👍🏽connected to a mall
—————————————
👎tiny drop off and pick up zone ( it could be easily congested with three cars)
👎construction area 2 meters away from the hotel building (the road between them actual is 2 meters wide 🤕)
👎degraded room (like really)
👎nasty furniture.
👎the bed is as good as the floor with a bed sheet on it.
👎mold is found at different corners of the bath, toilet and basin.
👎washing your hand is like trying to wash them using fire hose; except it was not cleaned properly ( use your imagination; this the best of my English)
👎the flooring could have been there for ever without change ( just put a mat outside your house for couple of years, wash it from time to time; that is how it looked. Also, you can easily setup your lab there and start your research on what new micro species you can discover!)
👎I assume the original color of the telephone on the room was white; but now it is caramel-like color( full of life).
👎the corridor of the 29th floor smelled like an animals barn - for some reason( please forgive my nose, it has been acting up lately)
👎basically no value for your money.

This hotel was a top notch back in 2016, don’t even consider it unless it is very cheap and you are okay with the above observations.
Stay safe!
Hello Chester
Rooms are clean and spacious. They are going eco friendly with their lines, you can choose to reuse your bed lines or get new ones.
Downsize of the room, no microwave in the kitchen at all. Just a sink.
My room can see both KL monumentals just outside my bedroom and living room windows!!
Train station is so convenient that its just outside the hotel

My family and I had a very pleasant stay at this place. The room was large and comfortable. The hospitality was top notch, I must say. They provided free bar inside the room, the kids enjoyed the snacks very much. The check-in and check-out process was so smooth and hassle-free. Their receptionists were so friendly that we felt welcomed. The breakfast spread was great with free-flow coffee. Love this so much! The scenery at the swimming pool was amazing. And the fact that it located next to Berjaya Times Square made the stay convenient. Every thing you need was almost available just next door.

I've been staying at this hotel with my family for over 20 years, and it's one of my mother's favorite places due to the spacious rooms and convenient location. Attached to a shopping mall and close to Lalaport, it makes access to food and shopping very easy, which is a huge plus.
However, during my recent 3-night stay (and for the past 2 years of 3 night stays - which means 3 years in a row) I encountered a serious roach issue. Each night, I ended up killing around five roaches, and it left me concerned about possibly bringing some home. While I understand that being attached to a mall might make it more challenging to control, the roach problem is real and needs urgent attention. A simple bug spray won’t solve it, and it’s becoming a significant issue for guests.
Aside from this, the hotel still offers okay service, and the rooms remain as spacious as ever, but the infestation definitely impacted my experience this time. I truly hope the management takes this seriously and addresses it soon. The cleaners and staff members are very friendly though, I should add.
As a vegetarian, I find that the vegetarian breakfast buffet is such a rare delight to have as far as hotels go, but I think its high time that Berjaya takes extra measures in attending to their roach issue.
PS: Mind you, they might look like baby roaches but they're actually a species of adult roaches but in small size. I'd recommend bringing some form of repellent of your own.
