Absolutely fabulous 5 days at The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur as part of a longer visit to Malaysia. We stayed in a club room with associated benefits. The room was spotless.. housekeeping was to a very high standard. The club lounge was lovely..we preferred to eat breakfast there instead of the main buffet restaurant as it was much quieter. Evening drinks and canapes were such a nice way to start the evening. However, the real gems were the lounge staff... honestly faultless. Everyone is so kind and friendly, they remembered the drinks we liked and were a welcome sight after a hectic day in the city. I will say that some guests were particularly awkward but the guys dealt with them with such professionalism and a calm manner...their training really shone through. They really do need to be commended for the way they carry the Ritz-Carlton name. Most definitely will be back on our next visit to KL

A delightful stay at a magnificent hotel. The decor of dark wood feels like a traditional British Club. Service levels are very high with a staff who are genuinely interested in making your stay unforgettable. The hotels location in Bukit Bintang allows easy access to the many shopping centres in the area and public transport is a walk away. We choose a Club Room with the Executive Lounge being an oasis of excellent service and food. Our room was large and very comfortable with good amenities including Diptoque toiletries. Of particular note was the service levels of three exceptional members of staff, Masum Rana, Bhara Uddin, MD Monayem. They made our stay very special.

Hands down, one the best hotel experiences I have had! Excellent spacious clean and we'll furnished rooms. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal - such great food and variety! The workers are so sweet and accommodating Walking distance to the malls with a tunnel

Had tea for my friend’s birthday and food & service was amazing! Thank you to Ahmad for being a wonderful host, very hospitable and always checking if everything was okay. We also got a printed picture as a gift from him which was so sweet and meaningful! Thank you also to Maria for the great tea recommendation and for being the sweetest as well! Lovely experience

We chose this hotel for a family getaway to celebrate our little girl’s birthday, but unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations for a property of this standard. Upon arrival, finding the hotel entrance was extremely difficult. It took us an additional 30 minutes to locate it, as there were no clear signs or instructions provided. Guests should be informed in advance about how to access the entrance to avoid such inconvenience. Once we finally arrived, there was no welcome drink or any sense of warmth or hospitality. The room was not ready despite our confirmed booking, and although we had requested and received written confirmation for a birthday room decoration, it was not prepared upon our arrival. We had also booked access to the Club Lounge; however, we were later informed that children under 12 are not permitted, which meant our family could not use the facility at all despite having paid extra for this benefit. Service throughout our stay was consistently slow. Even simple requests took an unusually long time to fulfill. For example, a single cup of black coffee ordered at the pool took nearly 30 minutes to arrive. Staff members appeared overwhelmed and uncertain when approached with basic questions. The dining options were also disappointing. There was no proper restaurant setup instead, meals were served in lounge style areas that resembled airport waiting rooms. The pool water was uncomfortably cold, and overall, facilities seemed poorly maintained. On the day of checkout, staff could not locate our car, which caused further delay and frustration. While the food quality itself was acceptable, we were shocked to see a cockroach in the kitchen area near the coffee machine something entirely unacceptable for a hotel of this reputation. The property in general appears dated and in need of renovation. Overall, we were deeply disappointed by the experience. This is not the level of service or standard one would expect from a Ritz Carlton hotel.
