Honestly, this is what 5 star should actually be. Our recent 6 night stay has been truly amazing. The hotel is spectacular, the service is impeccable and the staff are truly a credit to the hotel. Siong and Aleff in the club horizon lounge deserve to be recognised for making our stay so enjoyable. We celebrated a birthday whilst here and I’ve never had such attention to detail from any hotel before. I would highly recommend the Shangri La in KL for anyone looking for affordable luxury.

I’ve stayed at Shangri-La Hotel KL twice now, and it has always been a wonderful experience. The ambience is elegant and welcoming, making the stay very comfortable from the moment you step in. The hospitality here truly stands out — the staff are warm, attentive, and always ready to help. A special mention goes to Akram from housekeeping, who did an excellent job. He was polite, friendly, and ensured the room was perfectly maintained throughout my stay. His professionalism and kindness made the experience even better. Overall, Shangri-La KL continues to impress me with its great service and atmosphere. Definitely one of my top choices in Kuala Lumpur!

The staff were very friendly and always welcomed us with a smile. The room felt a little plain for the price, but it was quiet and we were able to stay comfortably. Breakfast was delicious, but it was quite crowded and a bit difficult to get food. I would recommend going early. The location is excellent, with many stations and sightseeing spots nearby.

We stayed for 3 nights but honestly would’ve loved to stay longer. The staff are so welcoming and honestly can’t do enough for you, they make the experience what it is. The amenities are fantastic, the pool area is a little city oasis and the spa is clean and beautiful. The gym is also the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel with a fab air con which is definitely needed. Our room was also really nice and clean, with a fab view of the city. Breakfast was lovely with lots of options including chocolate fountains! The robots for clearing are also very entertaining to watch. Arthur’s Grill also offers great food and views! Everything in this hotel is so beautifully thought out and we would definitely stay again!
