First off, all the idiots in the Google reviews saying "This hotel shouldn't have 5 stars, it's a 3 star hotel" don't understand the basic concepts of the hotel star rating system. It doesn't matter that the decor is a little dated, this hotel meets all of the requirements for being designated as 5 stars, e.g 24hr concierge, heated swimming pool etc.
Secondly, the food is pretty average. It's standard buffet style, but there are different options every night that keep it interesting. The fresh options that are cooked in front of you by the chefs seemed the best, like the omelette at breakfast or the stir fry at dinner. Occasionally had to dig through the stack to find an acceptably clean plate, but the food was tasty enough.
The rooms were very clean. Some of the interior is dated and in need of renovation, but we didn't have any problems with cleanliness or bugs like I had seen in other google reviews.
The pool and scheduled activities were great, staff were friendly, loved the snacks at the poolside bar.
We paid less than £50 per person, per night, for all inclusive and enjoyed our stay immensely. You can't even get a room at a premier inn for that amount of money these days, and then you have to pay extra for an atrocious breakfast.
This hotel is unbeatable value for money, I couldn't find anything else in this area even approaching this price. If you want to stay somewhere with better food/decor be prepared to pay double the amount, and I doubt it would be twice as good as Best Semiramis.

Overall Summary: (Low 4 Star Hotel)
If you are seeking a 5-star, all-inclusive experience, this hotel may not meet your expectations. However, if you are accustomed to 3- or 4-star accommodations, it may suffice, though I would not return given the price. There are numerous nearby hotels offering better rooms at more competitive rates.
The higher the floor, the better the view. We stayed on the 14th floor, which offers proximity to the swimming pool (one floor below), the dining area (one floor above), and the main hall (two floors above).
Personnel: 5 Stars
The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful.
Room: 3 Stars
The room fell short of expectations. The shower had inconsistent water temperatures, oscillating between too hot and too cold, resulting in discomfort. The beds were adequate but not up to the standards expected for the price and a 5-star rating. The ceiling showed signs of water damage, with visible stains, and the furnishings were dated and of poor quality. The room's color scheme was unappealing. We were issued two key cards, but one was defective. Additionally, amenities such as towels, a kettle, and an iron were available at an extra cost. The minibar also required additional payment, with no daily replenishment, and there was no coffee machine or complimentary drinking water. On a positive note, the TV/cable service and internet were good and included.
Activities: 4 Stars
The hotel offers a range of activities, including music, swimming, spa services, a bar, and a gym. However, there is no on-site shop for food and drinks.
Dinner: 4 Stars
Dinner and breakfast were excellent, but lunch was disappointing. The buffet offered a variety of options, but many dishes were overly salty and difficult to enjoy, even for someone who is generally not picky about food.
Price: 2 Stars
The hotel is very expensive, costing 300 euros per night, with a full pension option at 250 euros. However, many additional charges significantly increase the total cost. For instance, the spa costs an extra 10 euros per person, towels are 10 euros each, a kettle is 3 euros per day, and the minibar, coffee machine, and drinking water are not included. Given these extra costs, the overall value for money is poor.

Solid three star hotel but rated a two overall for the lack of details to attention.
Good for couples that want to get out and not spend time in the hotel or people without kids. This is not a family friendly hotel, entertainment for kids seems to have been let go with the staff shortages.
The Best Semiramis is an old building that’s been refreshed with a bit of paint and some new cladding in the busy areas.
One unheated large pool and one heated small pool with fountains etc, please see my video for the atmosphere around the pool due to no music and no staff at the pool bar. The hotel provided three nights of entertainment which was rubbish and a lot of guests cleared the bar area after twenty minutes, we found better bars locally and walked into the town which is a fifteen minute walk. (FYI, the exit at the bottom of the hotel to the town is dodgy and I wouldn’t let me kids use this route due to the lack of light and security)
We had a small issue on our second day which I raised with reception and nothing happened, the staff acted like they had heard the complaint a million times over and just didn’t have any empathy.
The key to your stay is to rent a car and explore the island. The hotel is operating on minimal staff and if you paid all inclusive you aren’t getting all inclusive as the drinks are watered down, it’s €12 per person per day for the premium alcoholic drinks.
The room was clean and tidy with a comfy bed, BUT BRING EAR PLUGS, we found it manageable but got a much better sleep with the use of ear plugs due to the road noise. Food was very reasonable with themed nights like Mexican etc.

Somewhat mixed about our experience at Best Semiramis, to be honest. The view from our room was absolutely incredible and the hotel itself is beautiful with lots of activities to keep you entertained. The hotel was generally clean and well serviced while the pool + bar staff were nice and friendly (shoutout to Denisa).
That being said, we did have a couple of small issues with our stay. For a “5 star” hotel the food was nothing short of grim and offered very little selection. Quite disappointing as we had to eat out most nights despite paying all inclusive. There was also a lot bluntness from certain staff at the front desk and bar…
The location was nice overall and I feel this hotel would be very well suited to families, though we were definitely ready to leave after a few nights. Still worth a 4 star review due to being good value.

Our holiday has now unfortunately come to an end. We had a lovely stay in Best Semiramis. The room is a perfect size and the view is incredible overlooking the sea (The waves crashing against the rocks is a very peaceful sound to fall asleep to). The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
We stayed all inclusive where we did have a mixture of experiences. Some of the staff were fantastic and very friendly. A special mention to our cleaner (7th floor) who left the room lovely and clean every day (With that said, the whole hotel is immaculate!). Another special mention to the lifeguards who were always so engaging and helpful with big energy.
Some staff seemed a bit rushed off their feet so couldn’t give 100% nice service to every individual.
The restaurant food is average, nothing to write home about however, the pool bar food was much better. Good selection of alcoholic drinks. You do however have to pay additional for certain drinks but the standard alcohol included was absolutely fine. (Do not recommend the white wine at all).
One thing I would say which could be an improvement - there was no atmosphere at the pool with regard to music, nor in the restaurant which did make it a bit canteen like. The music at the pools comes on for an hour or so and then they take away the speaker.
We highly recommend going to Loro Parque as this was definitely a highlight of our holiday! We walked there from the hotel however you can catch a mini train that drops you at the door. Get tickets from the hotel! I think we got ripped off from a tourist information point up the road.
