We had a two nights stay at coin de mire attitude and no doubt this hotel has a good commercial service. But my family and myself were very disappointed.
1. The room we were initially given has a bad smell of mold, the room was changed.
2. At dinner time, a very poor variety of veg dishes compared to non veg dishes. All non veg desserts were mixed up with veg desserts and after pointing out the next day we had only sagoo n breakfast fruits salads.
. At breakfast time very small variety of veg dishes although we had already informed the staff at reservation and check in time. It was very disappointing when we had to wait for one hour before being served with sweet pancakes and vegan sausages.
. On the next day same spinach dish was served at breakfast and dinner time and there was no care for veg dishes. We were limited in choice and we were served sour and stale chilli bites. We drew the attention of the staff.
I don't think it is my duty to draw the attention of the staff each time, my family ought to enjoy the stay.
Our culinary experience each time meals were served, was a disaster. The hotel did not offer any acceptable variety of dishes nor did it display any creativity.
If you are non veg you will definitely get value for money but if you are veg this hotel is big NO.
Our kids were very sad and disappointed.
Definitely not recommended for vegetarians.

Food good, rooms ok, staff friendly. Unfortunately it was unbearable at the pool and the bar on weekends because the locals were disrespectful and took over all the areas for themselves and were incredibly loud. We won't be coming back and won't recommend the hotel

I have had the most amazing stay here. I am a solo traveller and have never travelled to Mauritus before. When I tell you I would happily return to this hotel again and again. All the staff are so so so attentive, the amazing reception ladies like Manisha, the spa staff, the kind boathouse people like Enko, Fidel,Loïc and others who manage all the water excursions included with the hotel ( I didn’t know of this!). I am so so glad I chose to stay here. The General Manager is very warm and makes sure all is well. No one made me feel uncomfortable dining alone, everyone has welcomed me with a smile. It is a scary thing to travel alone but I never felt alone staying here. Thank you all!!! Will return again :)

Lovely space, good food and location.
Techno at boat house very helpful as well as Gita at hotel.
Our room had issues with drain and had to report smell more than once.
Requested luggage collection 10 minutes before taxi was due. Had to follow up numerous times and only got helped 25 min later. Saw only one porter trying his best.
Can definitely recommend.

Coin de Mire Attitude is a lovely resort to stay at—we definitely enjoyed our time here. While the beachfront is across the street, it doesn’t impact the experience at all. There’s a perfect balance between relaxing by the pool or enjoying the beautiful beach. The beach itself is stunning, with a coral reef that breaks the waves before they reach the shore, making it ideal for a peaceful swim.
Our room was spacious with a fantastic shower and strong water pressure. We spent a few evenings relaxing on the balcony, soaking in the atmosphere.
Water is readily available from fountains around the resort, and on arrival, we received recycled plastic bottles to use during our stay. Coin de Mire Attitude’s commitment to eco-friendly practices is a definite plus.
The food ranged from good to great throughout our stay. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, and we appreciated the variety in the dinner buffet. We opted for the half-board package, which was perfect for us. One day, we took a bus to Grand Baie for a haircut and lunch. For lunch at the resort, there’s a small food stand (tabai) that offers reasonably priced local dishes, which were delicious.
The only downside is the resort’s proximity to the street. Cars can be a bit loud in the evenings, which might be an issue for light sleepers.
