The Veranda Palmar Beach All Add In (all-inclusive) package includes the following:

  • Daily breakfast (7am to 10am) served buffet style at the main restaurant
  • Daily lunch (12pm to 3pm) served buffet style or table d’hôte at the main restaurant OR a Rs 400 credit per person, per day at beach restaurant (reservation required, subject to availability)
  • Daily dinner (7pm to 10pm) served buffet style or table d’hôte at the main restaurant OR a Rs 600 credit per person, per day at Horizon beach restaurant (reservation required, subject to availability)
  • Snacking options at the street food kiosk (12pm to 3pm)
  • Afternoon tea, coffee, pancakes and/or snacks (3pm to 5pm)
  • Soft drinks, juices, mineral water, local beers, cocktails, local spirits and house wines served by the glass at the bar (11am to 11pm)
  • Snacking options at the street food mobile kiosk (12pm to 3pm)
  • A picnic box will be available for guests leaving the resort for the day (24-hour advanced reservation required)

Don’t come here for the food, especially if you’re used to intense flavour. I found it quite bland. Otherwise, it’s been a 5 star experience. Unlimited food, drinks, good service. Free activities and wonderful staff. Every single thing I’ve asked for, they’ve gone out their way to help. I asked for extra chillies and they went out of their way to bring me a plate of fresh chillies for my food. The staff remember how I like my drinks and when I like to drink them, it’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced. The resort is ON the beach. Beautiful sunsets and crystal clear water(depending on weather) Would highly recommend. Also - use my wonderful travel agent (Margot speed from travel counsellors)

Our Veranda holiday was a dream came true. Every need was met with a smile. Being vegetarian, the food was absolutely delightful. Loved the evening entertainment with Clive. The Rum tasting with Faizle was fun and informative, linked with Mauritian history. So much to do, or simply relaxing on the beach. This is a haven for all, surrounded by enchanting peaceful palms with serene well-kept gardens.

It's one of the best resorts I have stayed.... Drive from the airport around 1.30 hours. Wifi 24x7 . Beachfront hotel with beautiful clear water. (Seaweed always being cleaned by staff ) The staff are fantastic ! We were welcomed with cold towels and refreshing drinks on arrival, which was great! ZUU at reception made an easy check-in process while other staff gave tour of the hotel . Every day, we had our room cleaned by Ms. ASHA . Great job done by her.! At the bar, MITHUN and YASH were always there to make exotic drinks, and also they recommended lots of drinks to try 😊 Hotel also gives complimentary snorkeling equipment , kayak boats and equipment , life jackets, a glass boat tour, and many more... During the stay, MANOJ also made sure our stay was comfortable and relaxed. Overall, it was a wonderful 5-star hotel experience! I would come back again. We spent one of our two weeks in Mauritius at Veranda Palmar Beach Hotel, and overall, we were quite disappointed. I definitely do not recommend this resort and would not return. It’s too expensive for what they offer. We carefully considered several hotels and had a few 4-star options within the same price range. In the end, we chose this one mainly for its location and the beach. To be fair, the beach was the best part of our stay. Pros: - The beach is beautiful and relaxing. - The resort looks nice at first glance. - Our room was generally clean thanks to daily housekeeping (although we did have some ants, both on the bed and in the bathroom). - We were allowed to stay at the resort and use the facilities until our late afternoon departure. Cons: - Cleanliness around the resort needs serious improvement. Birds were constantly eating from the buffet and people’s plates, and there was bird poop on tables and chairs. - Stray dogs were often wandering around the resort and, several times during our stay, they left poop right in front of our room (upstairs). They were also on the beach, where the same issue happened. - When we asked staff to clean up after the dogs, their response was disappointing, they were rude, dismissive, and even joked about the situation instead of taking it seriously. - Most of the sunbeds at the pool were broken. The ones on the beach were slightly better, but still bad. - The staff didn’t clean the beach tables from empty glasses and trash, nor did they arrange the sunbeds. As a result, the beach looked messy and dirty, even early in the morning. - Bars only opened at 11 AM. Even if alcohol wasn’t available earlier, it would’ve been nice to be able to get a coffee or soft drink in the morning. - The buffet opened right on time, but it wasn’t really ready. Half of the trays weren’t set out yet, and if you came an hour after opening, many trays were already empty because refills were either very slow or didn’t happen at all. The food wasn’t varied at all, it was bland, tasteless, and looked quite unappetizing. There were several days when we just couldn’t find much to eat. We also noticed they sometimes reused leftovers from one meal in the next meals, which felt really off. - The evening entertainment was extremely loud, going on until 11 PM every night. It was nearly impossible to relax or get any sleep during that time, especially if your room was near the pool.

The reception at Veranda Beach Hotel, which we chose for our 25th wedding anniversary between April 16-21, was very good. Our room was very good and clean. From the moment we reported the problem we had on the second day, the hotel manager, kitchen chefs, waiters, bar staff, reception and all the employees made an extraordinary effort for the rest of the time. Thank you. They did their best to make us happy and to ensure that we left the hotel with good memories. We would like to thank all the authorities and staff again for making us forget the negativities and ensuring that we left here with good memories, smiling and happy.
