The Veranda Tamarin Half Board package includes the following:

  • Breakfast and dinner served at Ye! Man restaurant
  • A credit of Rs 600 per adult, per night for dinner at Crazy Fish*

The Veranda Tamarin All Add In (all-inclusive) package includes the following:

  • Daily breakfast (7am to 10am) served buffet style at Ye! Man restaurant
  • Daily lunch (12pm to 3pm) served buffet style or table d’hôte at Ye! Man restaurant OR a Rs 400 credit per person, per day at Crazy Fish*
  • Daily dinner served buffet style or table d’hôte at Ye! Man restaurant (7pm to 10pm) OR a Rs 600 credit per person, per day at at Crazy Fish (6pm to 10pm)*
  • Afternoon tea, coffee and selection of Mauritian delicacies (4pm to 5pm)
  • A selection of local beverages, including mineral water, tea, coffee, soft drinks, cocktails, local wines, rums and beers (served by the glass at bars 11am to 11pm, except View bar til 8pm)
  • In-room coffee and tea facilities replenished once daily
  • In-room minibar items replenished once daily, including soft drinks, local juices, water and local beers (drinks to be collected at Crazy Fish Bar)

We spent two nights at Veranda Tamarin Hotel and had a lovely experience. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and we always felt safe and at ease. What really stood out was the warmth and politeness of the staff — they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were also woken up by the chant of a rooster which felt amazing. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of fresh and tasty options to choose from. Overall, a short but memorable stay, and we would be happy to return.

Quality price is great, it was my 3rd time there and very happy with the service. The entertainment staff is great, my daughter had so much fun. Overall a really nice hotel, definitely recommend

The hotel is right in front of the beach, the staff are very friendly and attentive to your every need. Once a week, they organise a show with traditional dancing on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Veranda Tamarin.

We had an overall pleasant 2 night stay at the hotel. The staff was very nice and friendly. Even housekeeping was excellent. However the buffet was a huge disapointment. From what we understood, it was a mauritian themed buffet but labelling lentils as veg halim, or dal fry as dal makhani or fried eggplant as eggplant salad is a joke. The taste was nothing like our local food. The lamb curry did not seem to be lamb at all. Breakfast choices was as well very poor. Also make sure to check your reciept before settling your bill. We got charged for a few drinks that was in the AI package.

The WiFi is virtually unusable — it barely works at all. On top of that, the hotel is extremely noisy. There was a party happening nearby, and when we asked the staff about it, they told us it would end in one hour. That was a lie — the noise continued well past 10:30 PM. We complained again, and the hotel claimed they had called the police, but after 11 PM the party started again. It was impossible to sleep. During this time, we repeatedly asked to be moved to a quieter room, farther from the party, but the staff lied and told us the hotel was fully booked. This was clearly not true — we immediately checked multiple booking platforms, including their own website, and found that there were still rooms available for that night. To make matters worse, the breakfast was a complete disappointment: extremely limited variety and the food was simply bad — bland, poorly cooked, and clearly low effort. Dishonest staff, no peace, no sleep, no internet, and terrible food.
