I had a positive experience during my stay. The staff made considerable efforts to ensure our comfort, although the hotel is relatively small. Unfortunately, we were unable to fully experience the offerings of the hotel due to the strong winds, which hindered our enjoyment of water-based activities such as kayaking and a defective pool table. Overall, the buffet was pleasant, although it could benefit from a greater variety of dishes. I would still recommend staying here, as the beach is beautiful and the sunrise is immaculate.

We stayed towards the end of August 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were informed that just the week before the weather was poor to such an extent that guests had to go and buy jackets! Malini and her staff provided excellent service and were always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the meals - if something was not prepared to an individual's taste then there were always variety to select from. We will definitely return to Mauritius in future. Beautiful and clean island with friendly and polite people.

The place is old and in need of renovation, but clean and with all the amenities you require. Rooms get cleaned everyday, food is delicious and the all inclusive package means a worry free relaxation. Don't expect a resort where waiters walk around serving you while you sunbathe, or loads of activities...but if you're happy to laze om the beach or next to the pool during the day and enjoy their evening shows, you'll enjoy this place none the less.

Very dated and falling down. Beach lovely sea warm pool freezing! Beach loungers falling to bits! Staff are lovely. Room ok. Cleaner did a good job. Food was awful. Rice rice and a bit more rice. Meat undercooked. No fresh fruit and no cheese! Food was so bad my husband got Food poisoning. Could be a lovely little hotel if the owner put money into it! And did better food! Would I go back? Definitely Not!!!!

We visited Mauritius for the first time and chose this hotel for our honeymoon, staying 6 nights on the all-inclusive package – and what a memorable stay it was! Like many, we were a bit conflicted before booking due to some reviews mentioning the hotel needing a facelift and mixed feedback on the food. From our perspective: yes, the hotel could do with some modernising, but the overall cleanliness of the rooms and communal areas more than makes up for that. The grounds and facilities are well-kept, and the peaceful, “older crowd” atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for – tranquil, quiet, and just what you need when you’re unwinding on honeymoon. The buffet was a pleasant surprise. There was a wide variety every day for lunch and dinner, and we made a point of trying everything unfamiliar – the seafood was the standout! Fresh fish, salad bar, and daily variety kept every meal exciting. The drinks offering was just as good, with something for every taste. We sampled nearly everything on the menu and eventually stuck to our favourites – the Pineapple Daiquiris were the clear winner for us, with our favourite bar tender mixing something new for us everyday. The staff truly go the extra mile. We booked several activities through the hotel and one through a local named Michael – all were fantastic. One standout moment was when we had to leave at 5:30am to swim with dolphins. Since we’d miss breakfast, the hotel had pre-packed delicious breakfast sandwiches for us the night before – such thoughtful touches make a big difference. We also visited the Silver Horse Boutik Shop walking distance from the hotel and rented a scooter to explore the area – the owner was lovely and very accommodating, and this little adventure was one of our highlights. To sum it up: if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with excellent service, clean facilities, and great food and drinks, this is a wonderful choice. We would absolutely recommend it and will 100% be back!
