Silver Beach Hotel

We stayed at Silver Beach for 12 nights and we were incredibly impressed. Upon arrival we received welcome drinks and a massage which was appreciated after a 12 hour flight. Our room was a nice size, however we did not have a good view from the balcony. We did not mind this though as the room was located is such a convenient place to get the beach, pool and restaurant. The food was a buffet x7 days a week but was amazing. There was a lot of choice and they switched it up everyday. Lots of rice dishes, pasta, chicken, lamb, beef, pork, noodles etc - The bar was good as well! We do not really drink alcohol and there was only one Mocktail option available. However, Tivesh went above and beyond to make us alcohol free drinks which were refreshing and yummy. He has a 5 star service and was very observant making sure all customers were seen to with drinks topped up etc. The beach was amazing as well, just like the photos and the sea was warm to go in. No one seemed to use the pool but it was probably because the sea was so inviting! Overall hotel was very clean, food was great, good entertainment (a singer most nights and a traditional show every now and then). Would recommend to friends and family and will be coming back in the future!

The hotel aged a little and it would be time that the owner starts some renovation but it is still a very nice, quiet, clean, comfy hotel. No Party at night!! It is the perfect place for a quiet, relaxed vacation on the beach. Not to forget it is mostly windy there on the Coast.( some complaind about it) Everybody is very friendly and helpful and made Our stay perfect.

A comfortable, well-priced hotel with all the facilities we wanted, and none that we didn't need. Three excellent daily buffet-style meals included in our package, with good menu variation day-to-day. Very helpful, friendly staff. An excellent, relaxing week for us, despite the somewhat variable weather at this time of the year. Recommended!

Really a nice Place to stay and very good Food, so tasty and fresh. A big compliment to Vijranand (Corporate Chef-world Master Chef) and his Team! Many thanks also to the spa therapist Rukshal for her excellent treatment!

Nicely located hotel, quiet area, you can find all the essentials in a village. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Amazing food, mix of local and European cuisine, variety of drinks to keep you hydrated in a heat ☀️☀️☀️ Great WiFi access, free pool table, gym, kayaking, pedal boats and snorkeling equipment. Spa and laundry at the extra price. Rooms massive, I believe all including balconies. The private beach area and medium swimming pool, however the ocean was definitely warmer. There's a bus no 55 🚌 going to nearby Flacq via village centre, roughly every half an hour, remember before taking massively overpriced taxi 🚕 (ie a single trip from the hotel to the village centre by bus 40MRU, by taxi 500MRU). In a village few locals offering all sorts of excursions for half of the price you find elsewhere (including hotels). The only thing to consider is to bring your own shampoo as there's none provided.
