We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were well taken care of during our stay. Great resort that we will return to.
We came right after a storm, so we had to travel through some rough terrain to get there after our flight but was well worth it.

Very bad service. Although the price is supposed to be all inclusive, you will find out that you will not be able to get in a restaurant of your choice unless you bribe your way in. You can't even get pool towels unless you tip them. Although hotel policy says tips are not required

Several issues but we made the most of it.
November 2024
The fridge was broken when we arrived and we needed to call to get it replaced - it was replaced but we should not have had to call this to your attention considering we arrived at 12 and could not check in until 3. With the price of this facility the room should have been better inspected prior to check in.
There were someone else's clothes left in our room in one of the drawers, the room should have been inspected better prior to check in.
The first day we had to call multiple times for the room to be cleaned by staff, to the point where we had to alert Fernando to intervene on our behalf. SO - for the first day there were issues that we really should not have had to contend with.
We were woken up at 9 am with food service on our first morning there which we did not request, previous renters had it and we got woken up. It was fixed as we were given Daniel/Raphael who were both amazing. Still, this never should have happened.
We had to complain about neighbors multiple times to have their Bluetooth boom box outside on the patio playing loud music that was very annoying. When we spoke to them they lowered the music for one song then made it louder. Nothing was done and it got to the point where we had to go to the front desk and demand either security tell them to lower it or move us. SO, the third day we got a call at 9 am and were told a bellboy will pick up our belongings at 12 and that we could not move into the new room until 3 - WE SAID NO. We ended up dealing with the noise at all times of the day. This should not have happened. Nobody else around the property had speakers on the patios.
Hot tub temperatures were not regulated well with the ambient weather temperature outside. When it was too hot at night the hot tub was very hot and when it was windy the hot tub temperature was just too cold. You should be paying attention to this for your guests comfort.
Spa services we requested BOTH people to do harder deep tissue and they did not.
It was unfair that we could not get to use the cabanas or chairs over by the quiet pool. We booked our stay and had no idea about Pineapple Fitness. Next time we should be told at the beginning of our stay that areas are not to be used.
The food was extremely salty no matter where we went - even when we asked for less salt it was already prepared food and we could not do anything about it. Almost every dish had a sauce it would have been great if there were options for guests that were less salty and less in high calories.
The security of non customers that were walking on the private beach was unacceptable. Several times we were bothered by people walking onto the property that came from other locations. You should have clear labeled SIGNS that this is private and that your guests security is maintained during their stay.
Some of your staff members uniforms are unfair. Why Elizabeth, your amazing barista under a hut be in long pants and a long sleeve shirt is insane.
SO, with all of this we would consider coming back - but this price was quite a bit considering the issues that we had for first time guests. We have a good time because we are together and met some great people and your employees for sure stood out. When we brought something to someone's attention eventually it got rectified. We make the most of wherever we go so that is what is most important.
Elizabeth - best coffee ever, change her uniform that is insane for her to be in long sleeves and long pants
Daniel/Rafael - best help in getting all of our meals figured out
Alejandro - great thank you
Playmakers - they work hard!!
Cesar at the pool - thank you for everything
So, several issues but we made the most of it. We met great people and overall had a good time. Your staff go far above and beyond. that is why I would rather the answer to returning be a MAYBE. For this price for 5 nights we should have had a slightly different experience.

Came on a day pass and usually come to RM but spent a great week at Pearl. I was happy to see Africa! We missed her on vacation when we came last year. Also my favorite Temptation Employee is now at RM- Lefranc- You are the absolute best and thanks for greeting us with a familiar smile and hug upon arrival for the day! Looking forward to spending a full week in the new expansion in 2025!

Fabulous staff, got a lovely room with our upgrade, really happy with everything except lack of options at the buffet. We are vegetarians who don’t eat mushrooms and it was really tough to find things we could eat at some meals. Not sure why French fries and a vegetarian rice are not at every meal. The Italian buffet was good, but wish there were pasta and sauce options at every meal for those who won’t eat the buffet entrees. Also would love chips and salsa/gauc at every meal in the buffets. Great experience overall!
