We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were well taken care of during our stay. Great resort that we will return to. We came right after a storm, so we had to travel through some rough terrain to get there after our flight but was well worth it.

Fabulous staff, got a lovely room with our upgrade, really happy with everything except lack of options at the buffet. We are vegetarians who don’t eat mushrooms and it was really tough to find things we could eat at some meals. Not sure why French fries and a vegetarian rice are not at every meal. The Italian buffet was good, but wish there were pasta and sauce options at every meal for those who won’t eat the buffet entrees. Also would love chips and salsa/gauc at every meal in the buffets. Great experience overall!

am a premier member. was upgraded to a new room. room was unbelievable. all the new construction was well done, with nothing to spare. however the service has dropped off drastically. from being left at the airport with no shuttle and paying for a taxi, to premier never returning the voicemails and emails, to being given wrong information about restaurant times and food, to the butler service, to the quality of drinks, to running out of beer and vodka regulary in a 5 day period, to AC being out in new night club 4 out of 5 nights. really dissappointed. spoke to many premier members with the same impression. will make it hard to come back again

First time back in over a decade, this place is better than ever! The new entry is expansive and welcoming. The staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel right at home immediately. The new lobby bar and party pool are high class and done exceptionally well. The atmosphere in the party pool with the loud thumping music didn't suit our tastes, but we could understand the draw. We chose to spend the majority of our days at the quiet pool which was a great idea! Jesus and Jonathan are the best bartenders at the resort, they were absolutely amazing! You have access to a swim up bar, lounge chairs, poolside beds, and beach beds. There are no charge for using the beds, you simply have to wait until 10:30 as premier members get first dibs. Any unclaimed chairs or beds you could then take for no charge. I would suggest that while the pool is quieter than the party pool, we certainly put on shows multiple times a day that were not so quiet! The new hot tub is expansive and has a lovely swim up bar. We typically moved to the jacuzzi in the evenings after the bar at the quiet pool closed. There are nice beds available by the jacuzzi, another great place to put on a show! The jacuzzi is open late, we were usually there till 3:00 a.m. every night. Personal preference, the club was a little aggressively loud for us, but it seemed lots of people had a great time with the themes. The new playroom is relatively small and the base from the club can get you off rhythm, if you know what I mean! Beds were comfortable and had a good height, seen fancier playrooms but with the jacuzzi, most people were outside rather than in the playroom. Do not hesitate to enjoy the spa services, there are many options that are fun for couples to experience. We particularly liked the fantasy experience with the surprise! Ely and Arely went above and beyond to make both of us very very happy! As far as accommodations go, we were very happy with what we received. We reserved a garden room and were extremely happy with the setup. Again beds were very comfortable and a very good height for all of our play! Would like to have had a mirror on the ceiling or additional mirrors in the room, other than that we didn't have any complaints. Some garden rooms even have French doors with windows allowing you to put on a show while you're in your room. We enjoyed the selection of adult movies that played continuously in the rooms. The cleaning staff were attentive and thorough. The food quality was very good, including the buffets. We really enjoyed the sensory dining, that pistachio cream is amazing! Don't be afraid to get a steak, it's not a filet but seasoned really well and when cooked rare melts in your mouth! We are already considering another trip later this year because we had such a great time, which is saying something as we live in Tampa where lifestyle resorts are available locally. The room cost seems expensive, but for the extreme relaxing pleasure you experience, it is worth every penny!

This trip was one we were interested because of the new additions for the resort. It exceeded our hopes. There are some minor kinks to iron out but those will be done in time. The staff is still the best! The playmakers are so fun as Tania and Javi keep the party lively and Kevin, Ilse, Brocoli, Babi, Shirley, Piña, Oliver, Leo and Shirley keep it fun! The bartenders are always great! Gustavo is so funny and smiling while he gets you drunk and Jonathon, Oliver, Edmundo and all the rest keep the party flowing! The pool staff is very attentive as Africa and Pedro kept us hydrated and fed and Carlos, Eunice, Joel, Julio, Ever and Dylan are always smiling and helping. Roberto and Eber are attentive butlers making sure we were supplied with everything needed. Desire RM is the best!
