Probably the best food at lunch and dinner I have had at a 4* all inc hotel I've stayed at recently. Breakfast average. No self service at this hotel, but there were plenty of staff. In winter months the main pool suffers from lack of sunshine. Rooftop bar and plunge pools are great. Separate nudist area on the roof. Plenty of lifts. Great staff.

Had an excellent stay here. The staff throughout the hotel are excellent, friendly and efficient. Restaurant is very good, food is good quality and plenty of choice. My only criticism is that the food and plates could be a little warmer. The pool areas are very good. Plenty of sunbeds and space. The rooftop terrace is also good with sunbeds and space again with a bar, toilets, and two small pools. There is also a naturist area at one end, cordoned off so no-one gets embarrassed, which is not massive but has plenty of space and sunbeds. The large hall and outdoor patio bar gives excellent service and the evening entertainment is generally decent quality. The pool bar is also a good sized area, with a stage for entertainment in the evening.

Really enjoyed the GF Fanabe. Yes, around the edges it needs an uplift, however the staff are so friendly, the cleaners keep the hotel ever so clean, reception friendly and helpful although not a massive amount of interaction with them. The bedroom was always kept clean, plenty space inside with everything needed for a holiday. I had a ground floor pool view that captured the afternoon sunshine. The food in the restaurant was varied, well presented and tasty, something for everyone. The hotel is in a good location, handy for the local shops, close by to the promenade and yes there is a slope to walk. Entertainment in the evening was varied, even providing a good rock group that were pretty good. There are faults the hotel is a 4 star and it is a big hotel the all inclusive only provides local drinks and I'm sure the premium drinks would not add much extra and having easier access to fresh water would have been better than having to queue at the bar but definitely this hotel and it's staff provided an enjoyable holiday. Thank you to all.

We stayed here beginning of September for first time, for our honeymoon. Lovely hotel, rooms cleaned everyday, staff always friendly & helpful. Food was okay not restaurant quality but totally adequate, lots of variety, lots of fresh Salad every day, different cuisine, something for everyone.
Brilliant roof top pools, never any sun bed wars. Can't wait to come again next year

We recently stayed at GF Fañabé in Tenerife for 8 nights, and while there were some great aspects of the hotel, a few things fell short of our expectations.
The hotel is definitely family-friendly, with five swimming pools to choose from, which is always a bonus when traveling with kids. The food in the restaurant was another highlight. There was plenty of variety, and we always found something we enjoyed.
The real stars of the hotel, though, were the animation team, especially Christobal and the rest of the crew. They were absolutely fantastic with our daughter, Ariana. Even though there weren’t many kids around during our stay, they made sure Ariana had the best time. Their energy and effort made such a difference for her, and we’re really grateful for that.
Unfortunately, the swimming pools were quite cold. While it’s nice to have so many, most of them were uncomfortably chilly, and the rooftop pools were so cold that we didn’t even attempt to use them. This was a bit disappointing, especially since pool time is such a big part of a family holiday.
Another downside was the lack of interaction from the staff. Apart from a polite "hello" and "goodbye," there wasn’t much effort to engage with us. Considering the hotel wasn’t particularly busy, we expected a little more warmth or conversation. It might be down to language barriers, but a bit of personal interaction would have gone a long way in making us feel more welcome.
While we enjoyed some aspects of our stay, especially the animation team, the cold pools and lack of guest engagement left us feeling a bit underwhelmed. GF Fañabé is a decent hotel, but it didn’t quite leave a lasting impression. Would we return? Probably not.
