I had an incredible experience at Gold Hotel in Zanzibar! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. I worked with Anthony, who did a phenomenal job organizing a private beach dinner—every detail was perfect. Our server, Alloycia, was exceptional, ensuring my guest and I were comfortable and never without anything we needed. The property itself is stunning and expansive, with so much to offer. After our beautiful dinner on the beach, we danced on the sand with the DJ and enjoyed a live performance by the pool. The atmosphere was vibrant, the food was delicious, and the location is simply perfect. I can’t recommend Gold Hotel enough! Whether you’re looking for a luxurious stay in Zanzibar or a romantic private dining experience, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of spending our Christmas holidays at Gold Zanzibar, and it was nothing short of spectacular. This hotel is a gem in a breathtaking location, set on what is arguably the most beautiful beach in Zanzibar. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the functional management and the attentive, responsive staff. The team was both friendly and professional, always going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Special thanks to Nicole, Salim, Hadidja, and the rest of the team for their exceptional hospitality! The food options were simply outstanding—high quality, diverse, and impeccably managed. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal was a delight. The entertainment was perfectly balanced—enjoyable without being overbearing. One of the highlights of our stay was being upgraded to a villa. It was spacious, luxurious, and offered an unforgettable experience. The overall quality of the hotel is truly five-star, from the accommodations to the amenities. If you’re planning a trip to Zanzibar, look no further than Gold Zanzibar. We had a wonderful dinner at Gold of Zanzibar Resort, and it was truly a highlight of my stay. The dining atmosphere was lovely, with beautiful views of the ocean that created a perfect setting for a relaxing evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. They really went out of their way to provide excellent service. The food was delicious, showcasing a blend of local flavors and international cuisine. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. We recently spent 12 days at Gold Zanzibar, and from start to finish, it was nothing short of bliss. Rooms & Service The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and immaculately maintained, with housekeeping visiting two to three times a day to ensure everything is perfect. A special mention to the incredible butlers – Ashanti, Kahjib, and Salim – who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Their attentiveness, warmth, and ability to anticipate our needs truly elevated the experience. Dining The Kilimanjaro buffet restaurant is exceptional. Calling it a buffet hardly does it justice—it's a collection of live cooking stations, where everything is prepared fresh before your eyes. The variety and quality of food are outstanding, and the waiter service is just as impressive. We also dined at the à la carte restaurant and enjoyed an unforgettable beachfront dinner, both of which were absolutely sublime. Every meal was an experience in itself, combining fresh, high-quality ingredients with impeccable presentation. Entertainment & Atmosphere The entertainment at the resort is subtle, classy, and perfectly suited to the relaxed atmosphere. The live music was fantastic, and we have to give a big shoutout to Diana for her incredible performances. The beach is straight out of a postcard, with soft white sand and breathtaking turquoise waters. Just be mindful at low tide, as some rocks are exposed with sea urchins on them. For those looking for a more lively evening, you can head next door to Kendwa Rocks, where the beach parties are fantastic, and drinks are very reasonably priced. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. Final Thoughts This was easily one of the best holidays we’ve ever had, and we’ve traveled extensively around the world. Gold Zanzibar offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and authenticity, making it an unforgettable escape. Highly recommended!

We spent 8 days in this place which is good not exceptional. Why? Failing communication and technical problems (air conditioning, bulb out of order..) The paths are steep and not necessarily suitable for people with physical problems. On the other hand, the staff is wonderful and particularly Joseph ; this waiter is so charming, kinder, polite and humble. He was very caring about us. He is an asset for the hotel.
