Had the best time on our honeymoon at this resort. So many pools to choose from and the beach was beautiful. Tons of activities and nightly shows. The food was AMAZING as were the cocktails at all of the different bars. They went above and beyond for our honeymoon and sent us a bottle of champagne with a singing server as well as upgraded our room. Thank you Christopher ,Mariam, Veronica ,Mary, Sophie & Jimmy for making our stay so much fun. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

We had an amazing honeymoon at the adults only Riu Palace Zanzibar. The staff made us feel very special, they noted we were honeymooners upon our check in from their notes and arranged a lovely bed set up upon our arrival with swans and a happy honeymoon greeting. The food was delicious. My only comment is to ensure you book all restaurants the minute you check in. The resort has 3 restaurants and the sister resort has more restaurants. It’s very hard to get bookings so make reservations upon checking in to avoid having to eat at the buffet every night (the food is lovely but you’d want to make the most of the restaurants on site). The pools were great, staff are so attentive, great cocktails, rooms are clean and beautiful.

Great resort! I had an amazing holiday here. The staff really made it fantastic, shout out to Joyce and Hadija, and the rest of the staff who were all exceptional. The food was above my expectations, especially the buffet, which had a great selection of well prepared dishes. The rooms were large and peaceful. The private beach was a bonus, the water is so blue and clean. Would definitely return here.

We had a beautiful stay here, the hotel is fabulous with amazing beach views, and the service staff (bar & restaurant) are wonderful. Special shout out to Rukia at the beach bar & Lillian in Promenade! The reception staff could be a bit more helpful, especially in terms of making restaurant bookings as their system is consistently down and they have no workaround in place for guests which was frustrating. Only negative though, everything else was great.

beautiful structure in an excellent location. turquoise sea and fantastic beach the food was excellent. Excellent staff at the promenade and bar, always smiling and helpful unfortunately I can't give 5 stars for the reception: I pointed out months ago that it was a honeymoon but I didn't find any amenities in the room, a real disappointment... I also went to reception 3 times to point out that there was a terrible smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. no one has solved the problem and no one has bothered to update me on the resolution of the problem also the person who checked in was not friendly at all. I asked for an upgrade but was told that the hotel was fully booked and if so, to come and ask personally in the following days (this is a 5 star attitude/service???) I renew my compliments to all the staff of the bars and restaurants, they are FANTASTIC
