Possibly one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Service is exceptional. Food is excellent, but I would advise you to book table reservations in advance). I would class the experience in La Terrasse as Fine Dining. Room is very good (overlooking the ocean). Some of the outdoor pools are heated. This review applies to Red Level / all inclusive. The elephant in the room is the price, but this standard of accommodation is not cheap, anywhere.

Extremely frustrating experience. I booked as a solo traveler, All Inclusive Luxury with Red Level access. The goal of this trip was to fight a growing burnout and make sure I had nothing to plan. It didn’t go as planned. Restaurants experience: What’s the point of having All inclusive when you can’t dine at the restaurant if your choosing? Once again, I am a solo traveler. Yesterday the same happened and I had to wait an hour before I could have a table. It was even more infuriating to see that the restaurant was half full. Have a 15min hold policy in place rather than asking your guests to come back at 9:30pm! Bedroom: I have a sea front bedroom with a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi itself hardly works, when the button is pressed, you’ll get bubble for 2min before having to press it again. No chance to relax. I reported that had ants in my bed but nothing was really done about it, they’re still enjoying their best life. But the worst part of the bedroom is the NOISE! You can hear absolutely everything including the other guests walking above you. Absolute nightmare. Red Level: part of the perks is that you have access to the spa with no extra charge. Nope, you have to pay 40€ to access it for 90min! However, I would like to give kudos to the Red Level reception team. They are extremely nice and helpful. In short, this is an extremely expensive hotel for a very stressful experience. I’m looking forward to leave on Thursday.

We stayed there for seven days in a deluxe room, and we enjoyed our stay very much. On the second day, we upgraded to the Red Level, which gave us access to an exclusive area in this huge resort. This area offered plenty of space for sunbathing and a pool, including a Jacuzzi, without having to wait in line. Even breakfast was a la cart rather than a traditional buffet. The Red Level also provided concierge service, a separate entrance, and parking included for customers in this tier; they even parked the car for us. In the afternoon, we had unlimited drinks—both soft drinks and alcoholic beverages—along with small tapas. All the staff members were exceptionally polite, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this resort. We are already looking forward to our next stay here!

My stay at the Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora was, overall, a wonderful experience, thanks especially to the Agave restaurant, where I enjoyed spectacular food in an unbeatable atmosphere. The service from Bea, Erika, and Bea from Cuba was exceptional—always attentive, friendly, and with a smile that made every meal even more special. Without a doubt, they make a difference and make you feel at home. On the other hand, my experience at the Oasis restaurant was not the best. The service left much to be desired, with slow and disorganized attention that contrasted with the rest of the hotel. It’s a shame because the setting is beautiful, but the lack of professionalism affected the experience. Despite this small inconvenience, I would recommend the hotel without hesitation, especially because of the wonderful team at Agave. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable!

the hotel itself is so beautiful and spacious however there are numerous reasons it was one of the worst hotels we stayed at last week. 1) as other recent reviews have mentioned same week we have stayed at the resort there was a strong smell of sewage and compost making it impossible to swim by the pool, walk around the hotel peacefully as the strong smell rushed us to hide back into our room trying to avoid it. however it did not end there. smell also came out of the room AC ventiallation. we had a mutual conversation with other guests regarding the smell as it also really bothered them as well. no notice before hand either. 2) breakfast is very underwhelming. melia is a worldwide franchise however the fruits in the breakfast buffet are just thrown in the bowls very inconvenient to reach without squishing other fruits for the rest of the guests. lack of basic breakfast condiments. food is very poor quality as well as buffet staff cleaned up my untouched plate with unopened yogurt, so i had to get up for a new plate again. 3) cockroaches running around the hallway as we were making our way back in the evening.. really threw us off. 4) it is currently off season for the hotel to be busy however the front desk put us in the room in the corner of the resort, so we had to walk very long to get there and back, when we also purchased a room upgrade. it wasn’t the cheapest room they offered. for people who i saw paying £600-£700 for a room, i feel very bad as the hotel needs a lot of improvements for it to be able to charge such ridiculous prices that don’t align with the quality and service they provide. people who stay at 5 star resorts often will be able to tell the difference in the hospitality service that is provided elsewhere. will definitely not be returning.
