Our stay at this hotel was highly disappointing, with several issues that fell far short of 4-star standards. Here are the key concerns:
1. **Unprofessional Service**:
- While dining at the restaurant, I requested assistance from a server to pour a cup of tea since I was unable to leave my seat due to taking care of my 2-year-old daughter. My request was rudely declined, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this rating.
2. **Not Family-Friendly**:
- During our stay, my daughter bumped her head in the standard room. When we informed the front desk, the manager made an inappropriate comment implying that my daughter might be the issue. This was both offensive and uncalled for, especially considering that small children are prone to accidents.
- The standard room is not suitable for families with young children, as the design is not child-friendly and the soundproofing is very poor. Even after upgrading to a family room, the noise issue persisted, making it unsuitable for a restful stay.
3. **Restrictions on Professional Childcare**:
- As the hotel does not provide childcare services, I arranged for a professional nanny from a licensed agency to assist us. However, the hotel did not allow the nanny to enter, despite providing valid documentation. When I contacted other hotels, they confirmed such entry is usually allowed with proper paperwork. This made our stay unnecessarily stressful and showed a lack of flexibility or consideration for families.
4. **Poor Food Quality**:
- The juice served in the restaurant was not fresh, and the overall quality of the food was far below the expectations for a 4-star hotel.
5. **Outdated Facilities and Atmosphere**:
- The hotel primarily caters to an older clientele, with many German guests. The facilities are outdated and do not offer a modern or inviting atmosphere. The overall ambiance felt dull and unwelcoming, far from what one would expect at a high-quality resort.
**Conclusion**:
This stay was disappointing on multiple levels. The service, room quality, food, inflexibility regarding professional childcare, and overall atmosphere did not meet the standards of a 4-star establishment. Families with children should reconsider staying here, as the hotel is neither accommodating nor family-friendly. I hope the management will address these issues to improve future guests!

Great hotel!! We enjoyed our stay here. Staff is fantastic, work very hard and do their best to make you feel pampered. Valerio took our photo's and they are amazing! He is a really nice guy and he did his best to make a lot of different photo's.
We had a great vacation and can't wait to come back some day!

We had a fabulous time on vacation here. The staff was so friendly especially the entertainment crew. Marta and Mar were absolutely fabulous and my kids are still talking about them a week later and keeps asking when they’ll see Marta again.
The rooms were spacious and clean. The cleaning staff was friendly and efficient.
Bianca at front desk was great !
The beach right off the hotel is a rocky beach so not ideal for children but 20 minute walk and you’re on the sand.
Only complaint is the check in staff didn’t really explain amenities and we missed out on the dinner show.

I think it only fair to rate the hotel from my experience. This is a hotel that does have a Privilege package and this is what we paid for. As a result of this we benefited from the Privilege facilities on level 6, a deck with plenty of sunbeds, jacuzzi, a mini pool, amazing views and a relaxing, tranquil space, free of noise and chaos.
The food in the hotel is incredible and the choice of drinks on all inclusive was extensive and of super quality. Again, I note we did pay for the Privilege and therefore did have access to more than the typical all inclusive.
Room wise, we had an incredible view, waking up in the morning and seeing the sea was a real treat. The maids did an amazing job throughout the day and we were incredibly well looked after. The staff as a whole were incredible, always happy, dancing, singing, generally creating a fun filled holiday atmosphere that was brilliant. A special mention has to go to the entertainment team who put on an absolute epic show. Singing, dancing, acrobats, wigs, drag, fireworks and that was just the one night - incredible!
I can strongly recommend the Despacio spa, it is a great experience, as a result of Privilege we benefited from the facilities on a daily basis and it was worth the upgrade cost alone.
I have no doubt that some people may have had a different experience of the hotel, but the Privilege options for the Conquistador mean that it ranks among one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at, and it has provided the best holiday experience we have ever had.
We will be back....

My friend and myself stayed in this Hotel and couldn't fault a single thing, the room was cleaned daily towels changed daily. The room was ideally situated overlooking the pools and entertainment area, and wasn't noisy. The food choices were amazing I even tried octopus which was surprisingly very nice. We arrived home on the Saturday and rebooked on the Tuesday to return next July( I can't wait ) nice there's a fridge in the rooms with TV, we stayed on a half board basis which was great for us, if we stayed all inclusive I dread to think what size I'd be when I got home because the food was so so good. I was very impressed with this hotel.
