This has been my favourite hotel to date! And I have travelled lots. The food and drinks are amazingly good quality as are the facilities. Our room was spacious, equipped with everything we needed with a breathtaking view of the sea. The overall experience was enhanced by the excellent, friendly and accommodating staff. There is no doubt I will return asap.

Lovely, clean hotel in a very good location for the sea front and lovely walks. Staff super helpful. Lovely , small indoor pool which is heated. Animation team engaging.Only slight downside is the food, often not hot enough and a bit repetitious. Guests making repeat returns state food standard has fallen. Also, the rooms on the lower level are ‘below ground’ so very limited outside view. Generally quite long walks from some of the rooms to dining area etc. Would go there again though!

We have enjoyed holidays in this hotel since it opened in 1987 and have re-visited many times. The service is second to none with many members of staff employed for many years and who recognise us during our stay. The location away from the main town suits us very well as it is easy to access if we wish to visit whilst the hotel is very peaceful and quiet. We enjoy the food especially the live kitchen with a varied menu every night. The pool bar is also good for a quick snack at lunchtime. The steps down to the sea across the sea promenade have been improved and we enjoy snorkelling and spotted all the fish and crabs. Some details in the bedrooms would benefit from an update but the bathrooms have been refurbished and the beds are always especially comfortable and beautifully presented. Thank you to all the staff who have made our holidays so special over many many years.

Have holidayed at this hotel many times and it never disapoints. Location right on the coastal path overlooking the sea which is lovely. Short walk to Playa Flamingo beach which is great for a swim. Hotel itself is spacious and set in beautiful grounds. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Food is of a high quality with a good choice. Spacious public areas with bars and entertainment room. Indoor sports area. Outdoors 3 swimming pools with a good number of sun beds. Staff are excellent: very friendly and helpful. Can thoroughly recommend Timanfaya Palace for a brilliant holiday.

We had a lovely ground floor room with a walk in shower as requested. The room was spacious and had everything we needed in it and kept clean and beds made up every day and fresh towels. The service at the hotel is second to none, the staff are friendly and welcoming and always polite. The bar waiters after a couple of days know what drinks you like to order and are fast and efficient always with a friendly smile. The food was very good both in the main restaurant and the pool restaurant during the day is very good. The cocktails are excellent freshly made and they have a very good selection of top brand alcohols. I would highly recommend this hotel for a good relaxing holiday. The entertainment was exceptional on a couple of nights when they had a group of soul singers one evening and another evening was a female singer from South Africa who was incredible. There is entertainment every evening in the dance hall and also in the reception piano bar for a different vibe. They do have a day entertainment program which we didn't participate in probably because we weren't around at the right times, but the daytime entertainment staff do not come around to bother you, you seek it out yourselves and all entertainment programs are advertised on the boards which state where it is. I will definitely book this hotel again when travelling to Playa Blanca. I have travelled a lot and this is definitely one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in...I should mention that I always book 4 or 5 * hotels and have stayed in some exceptional places and this one is in my top 10 for experience, service, standard of the hotel and grounds and location.
