Stayed in the hotel in September. Champagne on arrival. bags taken to room right away. Rooms can’t be faulted clean as you will get . Breakfast choice for all tastes including yes more champagne if you fancied it . Beach is in the door step . Pool are is excellent. Not a kid to be seen . peace and quiet everywhere. 11/10 . Will definitely be back. It’s safe as. nice pool bar snack . perfect setting for shopping and restaurants right behind hotel. you can walk for miles in either direction stop eat and drink along the way . €25 taxi from airport . Will 1000% be back. ignore the negative reviews shit happens everywhere.

We had our honey moon in Cleopatra hotel, and it was truly amazing! We had a room with sea view and we were enjoying it every day. Seeing and hearing the ocean from your bed felt like a paradise to us. The hotel territory is so beautiful, the breakfast was very delicious, I think there was all the food you can imagine for breakfast, I was very surprised by this variety of dishes. Extra thanks to hotel stuff (especially Ayose, who helped us to find breathtaking locations on the island), everybody was so friendly and willing to help, we appreciate this so much! This hotel made our honey moon perfect ❤️

All in all was ok but the rooms are in clear need of a renovation, the toilet water when flushing smells. We asked for a late checkout and they couldn't grant us that, but it was clear that the hotel was not even half booked, we even tried to negotiate a room upgrade when checking in but we were given the full price even though the better rooms were not reserved. The morning breakfast menu is ok but it is literally the same every morning... no variation, you get sick of it after 3 days.

Moved to this hotel because I felt unsafe and uncomfortable in another, only to have my mobile phone stolen in the first hour. Of course that's bound to happen sometimes, but never in my life have I came across a company or organization who aren't allowed to check their own security cameras without a police report (which takes days so the thief would have been long gone, and we would have been back in the UK by then).
Front desk staff were sympathetic and quick to call through to the VIP Pool Lounge/Spa area where the phone last pinged, but nobody had seen anything. I can't fault them for following rules, they're just bad rules. Also, noticed afterwards that although you need a key card to get through gates and access the building, there are two gates at the top of the driveways which are always left open, so anyone could come and go as they pleased.
Unfortunately, after seeing multiple reviews about thefts in rooms and around the hotel, I can't recommend anyone to stay here and risk losing their property, which is a shame because it was a lovely building in the best location.

Very welcoming staff on arrival, our first assigned room was disappointing, and we got an upgrade to a sea view balcony with a private plunge pool. This was a great idea of my wife, who normally has all the great ideas.
Breakfast was very good, and my only gripe would be the lady on the omelette counter was too slow, I recommend two staff at this station at busy times. The fact that no dinner service is available onsite and you need to move out to eat is a definite negative. Nightly entertainment was in the sister hotel, inconvenient but not unsurmountable. I rate this hotel 3.5 - 4 star at best. I would return for the sea view but not the general hotel facilities. Tom
