Lovely hotel and good value for money. Would definitely stay again. Highlights of the trip were the turtles, the pool, and a very helpful poolside waiter, Carlos from Cuba, who was on hand for incredible smoothies, cocktails, and conversation. Very relaxing trip overall 😁

2 stars because despite a great looking hotel, good location and good food, it shouldn’t be a 5 stars and I am very disappointed by the overall service. Particularly the way they handled the fact that a cockroach, alive, was found in the hairdryer of the room. I’m not sensitive to insects at all and actually did not care that much, but the way the man from the reception talked to me and handled the situation was unacceptable. You cannot say that this is something which can happen and that I have to deal with it, in a haughty attitude, especially when I was just asking for it to be removed. I never heard back from them, not even for an apology or a special attention (which you would have had for sure in any other hotel with such a reputation). It’s one thing to have a good exterior appearance, but you also must be dealing with clients in a correct way and provide a quality service when you boast so much about being a luxury 5 stars hotel. Other things to be noticed: - fruits in the breakfast are terrible for such a hotel in a location like Tenerife - courtesy from the staff could be largely improved in general - the condition of the shower is bad - light not working near the bed Disappointed to write such a review but unfortunately this was our experience and there’s no chance we will come back.

We’ve had a glorious stay for our summer break. The reception staff, especially Sharon, were fabulous. The food was lovely and the waiting staff were great, even in busy times. It was amazing to relax by the pool all day, with towels provided, a life guard present at times, and the totally fabulous Carlos who kept refreshing beverages flowing all day. The gym was great, the rooms were fresh and cleaned every day. Just across the road is a stunning tree lined park, smelling of jasmine at night and offering lots of shade during the hot days. The local architecture is stunning, but the August heat lends it to lazing by the pool rather than long walks. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the escape from the grind of every day living!!

Wonderful place to stay in Santa Cruz. We stayed for a week and were able to walk into the city every day for breakfast and dinner. The hotel offers quite a lot and is in great conditions. The view from our room a was wonderful, but the room itself was a bit old fashioned in design. Altogether it was a good experience and would definitely recommend.

Dance Addicts

Excellent restaurant, with daily menu changes. Very pleasant sitting outside on the terrace for both breakfast and dinner. Evening is a great experience of courses not just a fast dinner. Our second evening both Nestor and Guiseppe have been informative and good hosts.
