Incredible view, villa-style stay with friends. Private beach property with a lot of amenities. Something for every age, as there are free equipment rentals, ping-pong, fully-equipped gym with water view. As expected with this level of hotel, the staff is friendly and hard-working. The villas are a little dated, but roomy, nice furnishing and the hot water and AC works just fine. Still, spectacular because of it's cliff setting. There are many hidden pools along the property so enjoyable to hang out in different settings beyond the beach. The hill can also be a con because you are constantly climbing up and down the hill-stairs to get to the bar, restaurant, gym, beach or lobby. They have golf carts to take you but you are constantly waiting. The roads on property are also small so they only fit one cart or car going one way, so more waiting. The property is also very remote, so there is not much nearby, though a short walk can get you to the two local eateries if you don't want to pay the high hotel restaurant rates every day.

Amazing location, staff and food. This is the perfect place to relax away from the busy areas on the East side of the island. This was our last destination after Bangkok and Chaing Mai and in hindsight it was a great decision. The hotel is nestled amongst beautiful gardens, and the views are extraordinary. There is a shuttle bus (free of charge) if one fancies a trip inland or you can use a private Taxi. Staff is great and there are plenty of options for food on site or a short ride away.

We recently had the pleasure of staying here and I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I checked in, the service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and welcoming, but what truly stood out were the staff members. Everyone was incredibly polite and professional, always ready with a smile and a helpful attitude. Two employees, in particular, truly made our experience special. Alexis , worked the customers beautifully and made each person feel special. Nothing was too much for him. The attention to detail and warm personality made a huge difference. Khishan , who organised the restaurant was another shining star. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and eager to help with any requests. He , again went to every dining table each day asking if everything was to their expectations and anything he could do for them. He really made us feel well taken care of. Rajesh the chef cooked me a mutton rogan Josh which was to die for , so delish. He should be so proud to deliver such a high standard of an Indian dish. Even the dhall and Indian breakfasts were superb My only concern was that the bar staff outside (air bar) were not customer focused. More interested in themselves rather than serving people with a smile, like the whole of your hotel staff were. Overall, the level of service was top-notch, and I can confidently say that these two individuals helped elevate the experience. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Absolutely the best hotel in Koh Samui! The property is beautiful, very stretched so you are not on top of each other. 6 pools, so no fights for sun beds.. rooms are amazing, very big, and comfortable with amazing views. Only downside is that staff speaks very limited English and that it’s quite remotely located. There are two restaurants on the beach next to the hotel (one left 200m) and one on the right side that picks you up at the hotel with their own car. Also would recommend the hotel to look into their food options for lunch at it is international food (no Thai??) and very limited when staying a few days..

What The Travels
An exceptional stay at the intercontinental Koh Samui. Such a relaxing, breathtaking place. Highly enjoyed our stay there. The rooms could do with a renovation as they are looking quite dated but still very luxurious and well appointed. Also the food at amber and flames was pretty disappointing, (although breakfast was quite good), would recommend eating off-site for other meals. The afternoon tea and canapés at club were very good. Lastly the service was what made the stay truly memorable. Everyone was so kind and went out of their way to help and make you feel welcome. And everyone seemed so happy in their jobs as well! Made all the difference in the stay. Special shout out to Ter (like computer) and Lisa (we think) from the club longe. Outstanding service.
