This resort has a perfect location, since there is everything you need close by. We didn't use the services that much, but every encounter was handled in a really good way. The only negative thing about the resort was the condition of our room and indoor surfaces. Resort clearly needs a soma kind of face lift or renovation. Pool area was really nice for the kids and especially the small heated pools were nice as the weather was a bit chilly during our visit.

Not a bad resort, but not great either.
I'm not sure how this place ranked highly on trip advisor in the past, but they've let the place go downhill.
Group of 8, 2 suites, we requested that they be close together, or at least on the same floor.. didn't happen.
The rooms are spacious, but dated with old furniture. The hall on every floor smelled badly of dirty carpets as soon as we stepped out of the elevator on all floors. Pool is small. No coffee in the lobby until 8 am apparently. The AC never worked in one of the rooms during the 5 days we were there, and didn't work in either room for the last 3 days.
Apparently it went out in the whole building, we weren't offered another room/building and no compensation for not being able to stay comfortably in the rooms.
You can stay at better places in Orlando for the same price. Next time we will.

Overall we had a lovely stay at this hotel during a 2 week family holiday. 13 of us in total across 3 rooms. The rooms did feel slightly dated but had what we needed and was specious. One room had no coffee machine nor kettle which was quickly rectified. The oven’s were in need of a deep clean and the seals wear coming loose. There was some thick dust in parts but mostly clean. The pool area was really good for the kids and close to a designer out let. Hotel tried to make us attend a presentation for a time share scheme and the calls were a little annoying. Safety wise one of the rooms had some draws fall on my 2 year old niece as the unit was not secure. Overall though was a good location from Disney and universal. Slightly closer to Disney.

I’ve never done an online review before but as a travel agent and avid Orlando vacationer I felt the need to do this one.
We were really excited to stay here, check in was easy, there wasn’t too much pressure to do one of the timeshare things…great!
However once arriving to our floor we immediately smelled a very musty, moldy odor. There were fans running all over in the hallway so we assumed they had cleaned the carpets and the smell would let up. Unfortunately the opposite happened. Other people on our floor also mentioned the smell every time we got in the elevator. By the end of the trip the smell was so bad it had started coming into our rooms.
The rooms were spacious but in desperate need of an update (broken/stained furniture, dirty dishes, and some stained bedding). Also the washing machine kept breaking and eating up our clothing.
The pool was a big let down and one of the main reasons we choose this place. Children under 4 feet aren't even allowed on the pirate ship, meaning kids under the age of 8-9 on average just have to look at this thing all day and not experience ANY of it. The pool is not heated, although the front desk insisted it was, other staff members around the location admitted it was not. It’s also extremely chlorinated so very hard on your skin and eyes. Luckily the smaller pool across the street was heated so I’d suggest going there instead if you have kids that really want a pool day.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to people unless their only goal is to use it as a place to sleep while doing Disney or universal. I’ve stayed at much better “Disney Good Neighbor” hotels.
EDIT TO ADD: I did bring this up to Javier, the manager on duty. He was very kind and polite, as well as apologetic. Hopefully whomever is responsible for making these changes listens to their staff.

The property itself was a bit dated, but the room size and amenities more than made up for it. Our group of six stayed comfortably in one room, and the balcony was a great bonus. The soaker bathtub was definitely the highlight—it made the stay feel extra relaxing. A great option for families or groups!
