Overall we had a lovely stay at this hotel during a 2 week family holiday. 13 of us in total across 3 rooms. The rooms did feel slightly dated but had what we needed and was specious. One room had no coffee machine nor kettle which was quickly rectified. The oven’s were in need of a deep clean and the seals wear coming loose. There was some thick dust in parts but mostly clean. The pool area was really good for the kids and close to a designer out let. Hotel tried to make us attend a presentation for a time share scheme and the calls were a little annoying. Safety wise one of the rooms had some draws fall on my 2 year old niece as the unit was not secure. Overall though was a good location from Disney and universal. Slightly closer to Disney.

The rooms appear clean but need updated furnishings. Normally those types of comments in reviews don't bother me but these were stained furniture in living room, damaged tables and stained pictures on the walls. Unappealing. The room otherwise is very comfortable and I liked it. The heat didn't work during our saty of 2 nights. We notified them but it wasn't fixed. We slept with sweatshirts on. The location is great. Quiet but great access to main roads. Close to Disney. There's many stores within walking distance and grocery stores close by. Many restaurants nearby. The kitchen had everything we needed. We weren't sure how to check out though and front desk line rang busy. So we parked and went inside to return the key

We recently traded our timeshare into the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa which is rated by Interval International as a gold resort. It definitely was not. There were bugs in our villa, the ceiling lights in the bedrooms randomly came on during the night, sheets for the pull out couch did not fit and the mattress cover had holes in it, the refrigerator was leaking water inside. Maintenance was called several times. The issues were never fixed and management never offered any kind of compensation for the inconveniences. They didn't even allow us late check out. There was not enough soap, towels, or paper products provided. Maintenance/housekeeping took a long time to respond and issues were never resolved. Our room cards were deactivated before check out time. The floors were so dirty, our socks were practically black within an hour of our arrival. Also, the website says they provide a shuttle to the Disney parks, and they do, which is nice. Just be aware that they only go to Magic Kingdom and Epcot and the times are limited. We certainly did not get the value of our trade with this resort. This was a huge disappointment. We regret having traded our valuable timeshare for this resort. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay and don't have any kind of standards for your resort, this could be the place.

This hotel was perfect. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were clean and spacious. The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom was great for our family trip to Disney. The hotel was quiet. Service was quick when we needed extra towels. The convenience store and pizza hut on site were great for a quick trip. Shopping and a gas station across the street. We were only 10-15 minutes from all the parks. The pool is large and there's multiple hot tubs. Plenty of parking. We couldn't be happier with our stay at this resort!

Been to Orlando a few times with my family. This is the first time staying at Lake Buena Vista Resort and Spa. We booked the resort looking at the wonderful pictures online. The pool is about the quarter of the picture size. The dryer in the room only works after running for 3-4 cycles, not to mention the clothes get caught in the dryer vent and the dryer door pops open. The second bathroom tub/ shower water ran and did not turn off. There is a cleaning fee per day- which includes needing new towels. We were told since we have a washer/ dryer, we need to clean our own towels. Which would we fine if the dryer worked properly! Also the furniture was very outdated and scratched up. The arcade stole our money and the kids were only able to actually play a few games as the machines just ate the quarters. The cover for the dishwasher was missing and had exposed wires which is a danger to the children. Total trip hazard walking out onto balcony. Definitely would not stay again!!!
