Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable! The breathtaking views, surrounded by stunning flowers and palm trees, made every moment feel like paradise. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options that pleased our palates every day. The golf course was the most beautiful we’ve ever seen, adding to the overall magic of the place. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed and cared for. It was an amazing experience to stay at such a remarkable destination! Without a doubt, a place worth visiting.

Absolutely stunning place! Apartments are spacious and very clean. Rooms are big and has everything you need. Views are incredible. Luis at the pool makes the best drinks! 🍸 and all the staff are so lovely. Highly recommend this place!

During our stay, money from two wallets and one envelope with a total value of approx. 1600 euros was stolen from our room (we think the cleaners stole it). There wasn’t any other option because during the whole stay we had our money there. Under no circumstances should you leave any valuables lying around in your room. The hotel staff absolutely denied that anyone from them had stolen it. Rather, they tried to wriggle out of it. We have reported it to the police, but of course, that’s not gonna help us get our money back. Besides that the hotel area is nice, restaurant is good and rooms are nice as well.

Disappointing Experience at a Supposed Five-Star Resort We recently stayed at the Abama Suites for a weekend getaway, and unfortunately, our experience did not meet the high expectations set by a five-star resort. From the moment we arrived, our stay began on a sour note. The receptionist was engaged in a lengthy phone conversation, leaving us unattended for an extended period. Adding to the discomfort, we noticed a food delivery sitting on the reception desk for quite some time, which was not the level of professionalism we anticipated. A significant issue arose when we were informed of a €500 deposit requirement upon check-in. This information had not been communicated to us in advance, causing considerable inconvenience as this weekend was meant to be a special gift. Both my partner and I had card limits, leading to an awkward situation and financial stress we were unprepared for. Our dining experiences further added to the disappointment. The dinner at the hotel's restaurant was overpriced and only mediocre in quality. The breakfast was particularly underwhelming. With limited options—primarily five types of eggs—and lacking breakfast staples like pancakes, the meal failed to impress. The Eggs Benedict we received were poorly prepared, the coffee was subpar, and the fruit selection was below the standard. And if we had wanted to repeat the meal, it would have cost extra! Housekeeping also fell short of expectations. We discovered that the room service had spilled water on the bed and neglected to change the sheets, which was quite disconcerting. The few enjoyable moments of our weekend occurred away from the hotel, which speaks volumes about the hospitality standards at Abama Suites. However, the most frustrating part of our stay was yet to come. Upon checkout, we faced unnecessary delays and rudeness from the staff while trying to reclaim our €500 deposit. It required escalating the issue to the hotel manager and lodging a formal complaint before the matter was resolved, which left us feeling disrespected and exhausted. In summary, our experience at Abama Suites was far from satisfactory. The numerous issues we encountered, from poor customer service to substandard amenities, have left us with a lasting impression that this resort does not live up to its five-star rating. Regrettably, we will not be returning, nor would we recommend it to others.
