My partner and I stayed at the LUX Grand Gaube Hotel for one night (22–23 August) in Superior Room 2119. The hotel is beautiful with a peaceful tropical setting. The ambience was lovely and the reservation staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately our experience was affected by a serious issue in the room. The toilet was completely unable to flush, which created a big mess and made the stay very uncomfortable. We reported it twice, but no one came to fix it. For a 5-star hotel, this was extremely disappointing and not what we expected after paying a premium price. It left us regretting the stay. We were just waiting to leave the hotel. Imagine a woman unable to the toilet and required to use the public toilet outside. The breakfast buffet was just average. The hotel does offer great amenities like pool, beach access and beautiful surroundings but basic maintenance and service responsiveness need serious improvement. Overall the property is beautiful but our experience didn’t reflect the 5-star promise.

Our stay was more than amazing! We got a free room upgrade, which made our stay even better. The staff were amazing, especially the ones at the adults-only beach. Don’t get me started on the food - the restaurants were perfect, we couldn’t have had more delicious food! We had an unforgettable experience and we will definitely be back!

We’ve just returned from an incredible two week stay at LUX* Grand Gaube and it exceeded all our expectations. The service was exceptional and genuinely the best we’ve experienced, even compared to other five star hotels. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Travelling with our 18 month old, we were so impressed by how child friendly the resort was. Although he couldn’t stay in the kids’ club alone, we visited daily and the team made him feel so included and cared for. Staff all around the resort were so warm and kind to him, which made a big difference to our holiday. The food was excellent with great variety, and the resort was spotless and beautifully maintained. Our room was always perfectly cleaned with thoughtful touches like towel animals for our little one. We really appreciated how attentive and considerate the staff were without us even needing to ask. We are already planning our return and highly recommend it, especially for families.

Unfortunately, we are quite disappointed with our stay at the hotel. While it looks much better in the pictures, in reality the property is old, worn-out, and clearly in need of renovation. It does not offer the quality, comfort, or atmosphere expected from a 5-star hotel. Additionally, we mentioned during the booking that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary, but the hotel made no acknowledgment or gesture whatsoever.

This is my second time here and I would come again and again I highly recommend my room 3208 was amazing experience with amazing bf view The breakfast is amazing and the buffet restaurant we loved the pizza, and Indian food. All the stuff is so friendly and helpful The beach is nice and all the free water activities The kids club working until 10 PM and they can take your kid to lunch & dinner if you requested & charge the room
