Our family (of five) stayed for a week over new year 24/25. We couldn’t be more positive about the staff, food and facilities. The hotel setting is superb and the new year party was fantastic.
There are four restaurants of different cuisine. We enjoyed all four. The quality and range of the food is very good.
There’s lots to do on site but plenty to experience across Mauritius too. We organised our trips through other agents having been given recommendations by friends.
Above all, what really makes this a five star experience is the staff.

I loved the place and it’s amazing place to stay, great amenities.
The room was spacious and beautiful.
The staff were great and helpful and friendly.
The hotel has a lot of places for lounging around, different pool options and activities on offer.

Currently staying here now and have another week to go the rooms are large clean and spacious and staff are amazing. Food is gorgeous plenty of restaurants to choose from. Special shout out to the staff here all fabulous but Nicolas one of the managers helping out all the time do lovely and friendly. Brinda the housekeeper nothing is too much trouble more water body lotion towels your wish is her command. and can’t forget our lovely Aman the waiter by the smaller pool here who really is the nicest most attentive boy I’ve ever met. He should be treasured by managers at this hotel as he is so lovely and genuine. They are all amazing and a credit to this hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys and are making our staff a memorable one. Location is perfect and hired scooters to see the island. Well done il definitely be coming back at this little gem

We chose this hotel for both wedding and honeymoon destination. The service is very good, every staff member is so friendly and welcoming, we were treated like royalty. The room we had, junior suite, was super clean, well equipped and furnished in good style. Hotel felt like heaven, facilities, spa, beach, restaurants, events and music. But, what really impressed us the most was definitely food!! Each day different kinds, so tasty and delicious. Amazing variety!! I went through some reviews and, seeing any bad comments about food (luckily, rare ones) left me in shock!! Be sure that those people saying that are the ones who just love to complain and can never be pleased. The same type of people who travel to a tropical island and complain about insects or even worse, birds. Why are you coming to such places at all!??? Please stay at home and be negative there. In 4 days we got in total 2 mosquito bites, which is beyond impressive considering the fact where we are. Hotel really made sure to put all the effort in handling insects. Also, the “refund chasers” complained about many other things that are so not true. Seeing the other, also 5* resort in Mauritius, definitely reconfirmed me that Le Meridien offers true quality. Will definitely come back soon!!

Wonderful place, staff very attentive, beautiful beach and pool area. Came for my mother's 87th birthday. Only downside was there was no lift. The room was however on reception level and they provided us with a wheelchair we could use for the whole week. Buggy took her to the beach area so this really helped. The only negative was the price of drinks. A little too expensive if you are not all inclusive. Thankfully there was a shop 5 minutes walk away. Will definitely come again again and recommend.
