Overall our stay was nice. I don’t think we would return as a family however. Butler service was very helpful and appreciated. The rooms are very small for more than 2 people, it was too small for our family of 4 (2 children 2 adults) considering the expensive cost to stay here. The bathroom is lovely. Pools are lovely. Views are beautiful of the beach from restaurant and pool. Food options are not extensive and are more on the expensive side. Staff are very kind. Buffet is expensive for breakfast for both adults and children. No basic foods to order al a carte for children for breakfast like toast so you either buy your own and make it (without kitchenette) or pay 17.50 for buffet. A lot of young children would not eat 17.50 worth of breakfast. Our young son ate a piece of watermelon from our plate that we had finished with and the restaurant attempted to charge us 17.50. Turn down service can be quite late considering children are in rooms. Kids club is great and our kids really enjoyed this.

Lovely resort. Had a nice vibe and all the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Rendi was so nice and always checking in on us. The room was great for our family. Loved having the lagoon pool at our door. Kids club seemed to have good activity schedule but they didn’t seem to be doing those activities but there wasn’t many kids around so maybe they just ask if the kids want to do them or not.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Our room was like a dream—spacious, beautifully equipped, and the view from our terrace was absolutely splendid. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and a special thank you goes to Leni, who made us feel right at home. We dined at two of the hotel’s restaurants, and both served delicious food with excellent service. And of course, the pool was just perfect—peaceful, clean, and very relaxing. Our Butlers Rendi and Angga were superb at responding promptly and positively to our WhatsApp requests. The service and staff performance on the whole was good - housekeeping could be more consistent, which would mean less interaction with the Butlers asking for things. Kids club was so quiet and really aimed at young ones rather than my tween. The rooms were ok, but double beds are definitely not luxurious and the private pool was one huge lap pool you got your rooms’ length to use. Our daybed had an ant problem, which made trying to relax on it difficult! Rue restaurant did their best to adapt menu items for gluten free, but we found the Tree Bar offered limited choice and were unwilling to adapt. When they were given a years notice we were all gluten free and staying for two weeks’ we hoped for more dinner options. Nice location on the beach and lovely live music of an evening.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had the most wonderful stay at Maya Sanur and cannot speak highly enough of both the staff and the resort. From the moment we arrived, every detail was taken care of with warmth and professionalism. A special mention must go to Rani, who was truly outstanding in her customer service. She greeted us with genuine kindness, always anticipated our needs, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and cared for. Her attention to detail and positive energy really made our stay extra special – she is a true asset to Maya Sanur. The entire Maya Sanur team were also amazing – friendly, attentive, and consistently welcoming. Every interaction, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, or by the pool, left us feeling valued and relaxed. I especially appreciated how easy it was to order gluten-free food for breakfast each day – the staff remembered and made it completely stress-free, which was such a relief when travelling. The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located in Sanur, but it is the staff who make it unforgettable. Thank you, Maya Sanur, for such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to return!
