This was the best resort we have stayed at. Nothing was too much trouble. They even gave us a late checkout for free as we had an evening flight. Everyone went above and beyond to meet all our needs throughout the stay. And the food was also delicious. We stayed in the romantic pavilion and it was worth everything.

Very nice place and pricey for sure. Ate at all the places here - food was fine but not the greatest. They have a restaurant in the water on a Jetty - great views. Had some good drinks - enjoyed the Washiwashi. Beach is a good walk from the main area but there is a shuttle. Beautiful property with various animal sightings.

While nice in a generic chain kind of way. It was surpassingly sprawling. Getting to the beach required a 17 minute walk or they had frequent shuttles. It was worth going to Gabi beach which was nicely set up and had a good restaurant. Tami restaurant was excellent for dinner with delicious Swahili dishes. We enjoyed the pools tables, various games and boules.

This is a good hotel, but it can no longer claim Five Star status. It is pretty much partially run down. The plumbing is not done properly. There are some clear issues. The beach is not directly accessible to accommodate this. They have some golf carts, which are not sufficient they need to look into this maybe add some bicycles

Absolutely stunning hotel. Never experienced such incredible attention to detail, nor such friendly and caring staff ever before. Blown away… Everything was outstanding! Will be back.
