Me and my lovely wife spent a we here. This resort is wonderful it has everything you need. The restaurant is awesome, beach access multiple pools. Adult pools with bar all view of the ocean. The spa was very nice as well. We had a blast. I differently recommend. Bail excepts my debt card, visa and master card with issue that I was a foreigner.
Well recommended

“Merusaka Hotel was absolutely amazing!
The cleanliness was impeccable.
The staff were very respectful and friendly.
It had excellent accessibility and clean pools with great facilities and a variety of recreational activities.
The breakfast offered a wide range of options, and the garden and landscaping were incredibly beautiful. Highly recommended!”

The best thing about this hotel are the swimming pools. They are absolutely 5 stars. Comparing to other hotels in Nusa Dua, Merusaka has the largest and most beautiful pools. They are not crowded and are open 24h. Rooms are nice, quite spacious, with stunning bathrooms. The balcony is very small though, and has just one chair so it is impossible to enjoy it. Breakfast has a lot of variety and most of it tastes good, but it gets very crowded. The beach is good too, with a lot of sunbeds. It is also very convenient that every table/sunbed has a QR code so you can order food and drinks easily without having to call the waiters. There are however 2 reasons why I gave 4 stars and not 5. The hotel is a bit old, parts of it really need some fixing/renovation. For example beach towels are old and ripped, with stains, as well as the mats on the sunbeds. Also some of the wooden tiles around the pool are damaged. The second reason for giving 1 star less is the fact that side exit gate is poorly lit at night, as you climb the stairs, the lights shine directly up into your eyes instead of lighting the stairs, so I fell and twisted my ankle. But in general the hotel is fine and I would recommend it

The hotel is nice and well presented. Staff are polite, but very slow with service. I don't recommend the all inclusive package. The all inclusive package has its own menu with limited choices and surge charges on certain meals. They do not have room service included in the all inclusive package. You also seem to be at the end of the line for service at the restaurants once they see your all inclusive wrist band, slowing down their service even more. There have been occasions that up to three non exclusive tables received their drinks and food before ours, but ordered their order after ours.

Clearly the worst hospitality we received during our time in Bali!
While the location of the hotel is great, our experience here was soured by the terrible customer service we received from the duty manager upon arrival. Though we understand (as was explained to us) that the hotel had received an incorrect booking code for the room type we had booked on trip.com, we felt that the matter could have been handled a lot better by the manager, who could have shown a little goodwill towards their guests, considering we had shown her a copy of our booking confirmation.
We were given a standard deluxe room even though we had booked one with pool access, and were told that if we wanted the room we had booked (and already paid for) we would have to offer a guarantee!
Thankfully, the trip.com agent we chatted to was able to resolve the issue within a couple of hours, and we were able to check into our correct hotel room later.
The manager offered no response or apology for the incident, showing a complete lack of care in their guest.
Pros:
The location is the best thing about this place, near a pleasant beach and a close walk to the Bali Collection shopping area.
The staff handling the luggage and driving the carts were great.
Cons:
The room we received was dated and had a musty smell that would occasionally waft through. Also, the first room we had to check in to had a shower that was in need of repair.
Some of the staff could be a bit more helpful. For example, there was a very long line at checkout. I approached the concierge to ask if there was a quicker way to check out as we just needed to drop the cards off. I was told no, that I had to join the queue. It was only later while speaking to another hotel guest that I found out there was a self-checkout computer at the front desk. I’m not sure if it’s a lack of training with the staff, but things like this are important to us guests.
TLDR: Nice location, terrible hospitality from the duty manager, tired musty room.
