Perfect Getaway with Exceptional Service We’ve just returned from a truly relaxing stay at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa — and once again, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. A special mention must go to Surya, our driver for airport transfers. He was incredibly helpful, warm, and accommodating. His local knowledge, calm nature, and great conversation made every journey feel effortless. He’s a true gem and a wonderful ambassador for the hotel. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with every corner designed for comfort and calm. The food was consistently excellent, and we enjoyed the variety across different dining options. The breakfast service was exceptional, with the staff always going the extra mile to make sure we were looked after. This was our first visit, but certainly won’t be our last. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommended.

This resort offers a truly traditional Balinese atmosphere with beautifully maintained grounds, lush greenery, and a peaceful setting that feels both authentic and refined. Everything was spotless and well cared for. The service was exceptional. Staff were warm, attentive, and consistently kind. As a honeymoon couple, we were surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which was an unforgettable gesture and really set the tone for our stay. Breakfast was the highlight. The variety was vast, the quality was top-notch, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. It felt more like a curated dining experience than a typical hotel buffet. The bamboo Mediterranean restaurant on site, also impressed us with its atmosphere, great food, and fair pricing. The beach was clean and pleasant, adding to the relaxing experience. A couple of downsides included limited loungers by the beach and a lagoon pool in need of maintenance—several tiles were missing or loose on the bottom. Despite those small issues, we had a fantastic stay. I will definitely consider returning here the next time we visit Bali.

I had not personally chosen the hotel, but my first impression of the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa was that of a vast international resort with every possible comfort and a lively atmosphere. Despite its size, the staff’s attention to detail was outstanding, and nothing was left to chance. A special thanks to the Front Office Manager, Mr Arini, for the thoughtful gesture of arranging cookies in our room for my son after a minor evening fever. We look forward to the upcoming renovation in September 2025 to see the property restored to its full magnificence. Breakfast was excellent.

Ok, the honest truth. We experienced a Huge dissapointment as our kids got injured. The facade and front is super fancy but when you enter the rooms they are up for refurbishment. However the biggest problem is the hotel has to many guest and lack capacity for poolbeds and most of their kitchens resulting in long waiting time for food and you need to get up early if you need a sunbed. However the truth is you can probably settle for all these things as their Balanese restaurant is fantatic with best service ever experienced and they have sunbeds at the lively beach. But there is 1 thing that needs to be done before I can recomend anyone to come here, their pools are old and have sharp edges. Both my kids got injured in 2 different pools and needed medical attention. But on the good side, first I was angry about the way they took responsibility for what happend but after meeting with a senior manager they treated us as VIPs and provided acceptable compensation. We had a good stay and if they do fix their pools and increase their capasity in the kitchens and sunbeds I would recomend all to come here and experience their hospitality. But until then they get 3 out of 5 stars only. 5 for service, 3 for capacity and 1 for the pool adds up to accumulated 3. We would like to say thank you to mrs Arini as she has taken very well care of us after the accidents got to her attention. So ask them if pools are fixed, is so and you do not mind getting up early in the morning, then I recomend you to come here.

Where to start :) From the moment I arrived I knew this was going to be something special and unique! From the start with pick-up at the airport by the great Agus to the lovely welcome upon arrival by Arini and her team in the Lounge it was easy to see and feel that this was a place that had charm and coziness of a unique character! I booked this as my start hotel because of the great video by BeBaffled Travel that showcased a property looking a lot like my favorite one in Thailand. Property and room: Upon checking in I was told I had gotten a complimentary upgrade to a Palace Club Room which is highly recommended. The rooms are on the older side, but very charming and of high standard regardless. The property is beautiful, and simply stunning with animals walking around (Ducks and Peacock's etc.) in part of it. The entrance to the hotel has a beautiful gateway that deserve a visit of its own. The beach is beautiful and the pool and overall layout is welcoming and warm. The staff I encountered were always welcoming, warm and made you feel like a big group of friends! The cleaning of rooms were great and I at least experienced my cleaner Supatra to be dedicated and highly customer-centric! Please make sure to thank him! Palace Club: An amazing place to relax, enjoy great food and drinks and a staff that is top notch amazing! A huge thanks to Nona and her staff for an incredible experience through-and-through. The breakfast and afternoon delights alone are worth getting a room that grants access, but it is truly the staff that makes it a wholly uniquly warm and welcoming experience. Food and drinks: Their main breakfast has everything you need and more! The kitchen, food, quality and vibe is fantastic and Oka and his group make sure you are well catered to! Thank you for taking time showing the variety and for the new juice machine :) For lunch you can choose from a plethora of good spots all with various cuisine, and I wish I had more time to try more! All was of good quality and great taste! For dinner they have themed buffets that changes based on the days! Here Faizal, Donna and the rest of the crew made sure I had what I can best describe as a VVIP experience with great food, highly attentive service, cool shows (one day was a traditional Balinese story of many dances, and the other was fire show and live music where also guests could join in) and overall fun and relaxed atmosphere :) Other: The hotel has a collaboration with wildlife conservation which during the summer months on complete random gives you the chance to see baby turtles released to the ocean! If you are lucky you might just get to release one yourself :) To summarize, this was a beautiful stay that marked the perfect start to a currently ongoing great first time in Bali! This hotel I cannot recommend enough because for me what makes a unique stay is not the hard product alone but the soft product which is the humans working there with their service and ability of making you feeling that you are home.
