Don't get the "Star Experience." The food is the same everywhere. Just go to the buffet. It's all the same. The drinks aren't good because the mixes are cheap that go with the supposed top shelf liquor. Pepsi and Jack isn't the same as Jack and Coke. I say you're better off staying at a hotel where you can catch a cab and go and eat somewhere off property. The chefs are devoid of and real taste. Imagine a socialist country where all the building look different but everything inside is the same. That's it! Do rent a Cabana, but be careful. One place will quote you a $300 price and one will give you a $150 price. A great number of the employees are new that I talked to. It appears they have lots of turnover. The Cabana with bottle can easily be had for $200. You won't regret renting it if you have more than 2 people. Our room smelled of mildew when we showed and had to run the AC at 60 and turn the fan on for about 8 hours to get rid of most of the smell. The butlers are slow and service the whole floor but act like they are your personal servant but in reality they are just shaking you down for a bigger tip. I made dinner reservations several times and I would show up and their would be no reservation. I tipped over $100 to a guy to make me a reservation, buy me a couple of real cokes and you would think they would be fast but they were slow about everything. If you want a good meal and pride yourself on quality over quantity avoid the all inclusive places. The fridge doesn't even get cool enough to get the beer cold and elevators all over the place don't work. I knew when we were taken to our room and we had to utilize the service elevator it was going to be bad!

Food is good, service at bars and dining were excellent. The water came out brown in the shower and sink every time you first turned it on. The TV worked sometimes and everything need to be loaded. The four elevators in our building didn’t work. The phone in the room didn’t work. We asked to change rooms and they were able to accommodate and told us to switch at 4. Was told it would take ten minutes and in reality it took 45 minutes. Front desk were pleasant but not up to par with other services.

Water was brown in the shower when first turned on. It took the shower about 15 minutes to get hot water. The screen door to the walkout pool kept coming off the track. Had to keep turning off the air-condition. It was running freezing cold. we had it up to 78. It was an hour away from the airport. There was not much to do. Only 3 shops. The movie theater only played old movies. Bunch of eateries. Compared to the Hard Rock Cafe in Dominican Planet Hollywood fell flat. The place looked as if it in a renovation stage. The paint on some of the buildings was sloppy. They were always doing some type of repairs or painting.. Some of the people woke up to noisy renovations and scaffolding outside their windows. I requested a steamer for my clothes because the one I had leaked and 3 days later I finally got one. They advertised a stocked mini bar. Consist of soda pop, water, and 2 cans of beer. The closet door was broken. The one good thing was the staff they were very nice, polite and always went out of their way to help.

This resort was so much fun and relaxing. The adults only side is truly the adults side only. It’s very nice! They have fun entertainment at the pool throughout the day.
There is plenty to do! This is a resort where you really don’t need to book excursions, especially if you are truly wanting to relax.
This resort is a 45 minute ride from the airport but it’s worth it because the beach is much nicer with it being higher on the hotel zone. It was my friends birthday and they gave her a banner & decorated her door. It was very special.
The food is great. I saw a lot of mixed reviews about the food and I thought there were a plethora of food options, but I will say the room service food was awful. We tried something different every night and didn’t like any of it. Dinner reservations can be a hit or miss. We were able to get dinner reservations 3 out of 4 nights. However, the buffet is very nice and a lot of great options as well.
I also didn’t run into any rude staff. All staff was very pleasant and even said they loved working there.
If you don’t really drink, but need an alcoholic recommendation, I would recommend the Mango Tango. It’s a fruity frozen drink.
There was a photographer that took photos but they were a bit pricey to purchase. It was $20 per photo for a digital and physical copy.
I would definitely visit this resort again!

Disappointed in the management. Elevators not working after hurricane. Some building was not working for 5 days. It take one rude and impolite employee to ruin the whole trip for you. When an employee answer you "I don't care" then you have to question why is he still working there, specially after you file a complain.
Waiter Eric at the pool side was the best. Our group have been ripped off on certain level and again management were very rude. I would not consider this resort again mainly because of the management attitude.
