Just got back from staying at the hotel plaza palmeras two rooms, we had a five night stay, I’m gunna give my honest opinion, although first impressions were good, I don’t think this should be classed as an all inclusive for the following reasons
clean towel should be given daily, (although rooms not cleaned daily) we were told every 2 days cleaners would be in after 3 days I had to ask for some clean towels, and then they didn’t clean the room or change the bedding.
yes rooms could be updated but we slept and got ready there so didn’t bother us.
they shouldnt state they have entertainment, as what you class as entertainment I wouldn’t!! A young man trying to entertain people with a boom box there was no comedian or singer ect.
The staff were very polite and helpful and made our stay welcoming.
We did see an older couple struggle to get their luggage to the top apartments (which we helped) but there should be staff to help or they should ask if they need assistance to get to their room.
We had a flood in our room woken at 4am with water everywhere, went to reception where an older gentleman said we had to wait til 8am (I think there should be a 24 hr maintenance) then there would be someone here to help! At 7.30 we seen a maintenance man who came to see and said he will be back in 20mins after waiting we went back to reception when they told us he said we said to call back later!! So got another maintenance man who wasn’t happy turnt off the water then found a pipe had burst in the wall. He chisel away at the wall repaired the leak plastered and painted within a short space of time which didn’t effect us
unfortunately there were a male group who continued to drink all day and night, climbed across balcony, leaving their mess around the pool eg empty glass bottles i understand people are here to enjoy yourself but there was no respect from them, I believe staff should have intervened
We did enjoy our stay in Port Del Carmen and would return but not to this hotel unfortunately

I unfortunately recently stayed at Plaza Palmeras in Lanzarote.
The hotel is wrongly advertised as a 4-star property – it’s barely 2-star quality at best. **Key issues:** - **Awful food hygiene**: Leftover food was reused including seafood, fruit was off, so we couldn’t trust anything. The limited snacks (bread and butter) were served next to a bin, ham and cheese sandwiches left out for hours. The dining area is more like a dreary school or hospital cafeteria. You even have to pay extra for some items so not “all-inclusive”
**Shabby facilities**: Outdated apartments, ripped old brown sofa, noisy doors, and peeling paint. The resort feels like a badly converted self-catering place. - **Safety risks**: Damaged life-saving equipment and numerous trip hazards, including a drain near the cafeteria. - **No entertainment**: Just a pool table and loud music during the day, with an empty, cold outdoor bar in the evenings, the only place to sit with watered down drinks.
Despite raising these issues with the hotel and Love Holidays, I received no real response – except excuses. Stay far away from Plaza Palmeras if you are looking for a true 4-star holiday experience.

Great all inclusive mini break, nearby to amenities and the beach, bars and restaurants. Lots of choice. The apartment room was clean and well maintained. Good value for money, food was pleasant especially breakfast there was always something to choose from. Loved the pool. Only negative is could of done with a fan in the room as pretty warm at night. Overall we had a lovely time and would definately return 🙂

Smallish aparthotel complex about 10 mins walk down the hill to the sea front. It has recently changed owners and I understand a few improvements have been made, but does require further improvement and updating to stay competitive. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, found the breakfast to be fresh and cleanly served with great staff in the dining room / kitchen.

Advertised as a 4 star; it's definitely not!
The rooms were disappointing, the glass bathroom door is designed to have gaps all around; absolutely zero privacy!
The shower is a mixer tap, it took forever to get it to temperature, either freezing or burning!
The sofa was stained and smelly.
The "double bed" is 2 singles (2 single sheets) with a gap. 2 single duvets were supplied, but no duvet covers. Bring your own pillow!
The Internet was useless, gave up after a couple of days, continuously dropping out and, despite having a smart tv, it would never connect to the Internet. We brought a firestick and couldn't use it, we were left with 4 english speaking channels.
The cafe area reminded me of a work canteen.
All the social areas were outside, and it gets cold in the winter evenings.
The canteen and bar staff were lovely though.
Would not recommend this complex to anyone!
