Stayed here for a few days in January 2025 and had a fantastic experience. All the hosts were absolutely lovely and took the time to get to know us and check in everyday. Special shoutout to our GEM Honey who seamlessly helped us book in everything we wanted to do during our stay. Rooms are luxurious as to be expected from Six Senses. Would also recommend doing a cooking class at the resort and reserving table 99 or 100 on Dining on the Rocks for a truly special dining experience.

Excellent - it was the best way to end our time exploring south east Asia. Once you enter the resort, you’re only ever a text away to your experience manager who will provide you with anything you need. Their dining options were each unique, and gave us plenty of variety to try new things every time we sat down to eat. Their hosted activities and excursion desk made exploring easy. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Had a fantastic 7 night stay at Six Senses Samui. All the staff were amazing, the best service I have ever experienced, they couldn’t have been more helpful, professional, polite and friendly. Management, front of house, restaurant and maintenance teams were exceptional. Such an asset. The food at all the restaurants was great and our stay in general was very special. The main infinity pool with views out to sea is something else! The expansive lush tropical hilltop setting is beautiful and unique but must come with challenges and some parts of property and rooms could benefit with some updating. When booking you may want to consider your choice of room and orientation, i.e. preference to sunrise or sunset views and note your private outside space may be quite shady depending on the time of day and tree cover.

Rounded up 4.5 star Overall: We had a fantastic stay at the Six Senses Koh Samui. It is an idyllic place of tranquility and relaxation. Pros: Villas all feel very private and exclusive. Housekeeping did a fantastic job and really went out of their way to add little touches to our room each day. Clearly this team is led by someone with a true eye for detail. Food overall was very good but my personal favourite was the beach cafe which struck an excellent balance between price and quality. Staff who looked after guests on loungers (beach and pool areas) were superb. They ensured when people left, beds were promptly cleaned up for the next guests to use. The sleep enhancement spa treatment was a highlight of our 3 week long trip to Thailand. Truly exceptional staff at the spa. Very friendly service and nothing felt like too much trouble. By the end staff knew us and added personal touches which was lovely. We loved the free daily ice cream! There is a wide selection of daily free activities which we made the most of and found brilliant. Cons: We dined at the hotel 3 meals a day for our 5 night stay and unfortunately a number of mistakes were made by wait staff each day. From forgetting drinks orders, to not bringing out courses. It just felt a bit sloppy compared to impeccable service elsewhere in the hotel. We didn’t really feel our GEM was needed. Perhaps this was because we found the app easier to use or perhaps it was because they didn’t speak the best English. Either way, wasn’t as useful as we thought it might be. Coffee at breakfast was lacklustre. I’d hoped for a proper barista coffee but was prepared to accept a high quality machine coffee. Unfortunately the coffee served isn’t great (see picture) and could easily be improved.

Truly one of the best resort and hotel we have been to ever. Magnificent isn’t enough to describe the experience. From day one and the rest of the ten day we were there, Six Senses Samui was exceptional. The staff, food, location, rooms and everything you thought of, they were there to help, fix snd smile without a fuss. They stop to greet you every time any of them see you and remembered all our names. The little things that mattered most. One big shout out to our customer service mgr -Jo who was so wonderful to us. From extra perks like Massages, tea time, organising trips to the town, advice and anything you need to know, he was on call. The GM greeted us daily when he saw us, the food was so delicious we did not want to leave the room ever, dipping into our private pool which faces the ocean to beautiful sunrises and sunsets , asleep In a netted bed like a baby. Serene and peaceful. Or It was relaxing days at the infinity pool and private beach for guest. Even my ten yr old was so chilled we were surprised he didn’t use his phone lol. There was nothing we could fault even if we tried. We miss it so much. We are coming back again and again and have recommended it to everyone we know in the two weeks we came home Thank you Six Senses Koh Samui, you guys are wonderful!
