My mother and I had a fantastic stay for our first visit to Bali in November 2024. We chose the luxury partial ocean view villa, and it was worth every moment. The resort's stunning beachfront location and convenient access to the beautiful beach made it the perfect getaway. Our villa combined modern comfort with Balinese charm, and the staff was incredibly attentive. We loved the delicious local cuisine and the range of activities offered. It was a memorable experience, and we highly recommend it for anyone visiting Bali.

Disappointment – Overpriced and Mediocre As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I rarely leave harsh reviews, but this time it’s necessary. Paying a high price for quality is a choice, but paying an exorbitant price for terrible food and mediocre quality feels like robbery For 15 years, I have been coming to the Oberoi for breakfast. In the past, the quality was there, and the pricing was reasonable. Today, the chef is no longer a chef but someone hiding behind a title, the GM is incompetent, and the CEO and shareholders are nothing but greedy profiteers It’s sad to see a once-iconic five-star hotel become a reflection of what Bali’s tourism has become—a collapsing system where both tourists and locals have sold their souls for money. You are no longer a luxury hospitality brand; you are heading straight into the mass tourism market, where the only value you worship is money, at the cost of everything that once made this place special. Bali’s tourism industry is on the verge of collapse, and your outdated business model will go down with it. Soon, the only value your hotel will have is its rare location, but there are now thousands of better options at much lower prices. You are the perfect example of what Bali’s tourism has become—overpriced, soulless, lacking in quality, and aesthetically unappealing. You no longer deserve your five stars, not even close Please do not bother responding via ChatGPT. Use this review to improve and rectify your offerings and staff

We visited the Oberoi as the last stop on our honeymoon and it was a lovely end to a few weeks of travelling. When we arrived we were greeted with flower necklaces and we were soon shown to our room which was ready early for us. We stayed in one of the Lanai rooms which was spacious and spotlessly clean. As we were celebrating, we were greeted by a cake and a card in the room which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was really special with it looking out to the beachfront. We loved the choice on the menu and wish we could have tried more! The staff provided a brilliant breakfast service, being so attentive to provide us shade and plenty of drinks top ups. We were offered breakfast in our room as part of our honeymoon celebrations, but as we loved sitting looking out at the sea so much, we didn’t opt for this in the end. We really enjoyed the afternoon tea on offer, as well as the various things (fruit sticks, sorbets etc.) that were given out around the poolside. We even had our sunglasses cleaned for us while we were sat there with shows how luxurious this hotel is! The afternoon tea we had with Balinese music and name writing was particularly special – a huge thank you to the man and his son (sorry we didn’t get your names) who were so enthusiastic about their fantastic culture. We loved speaking to you. One thing that stands out at this hotel is the attention to detail in the rooms. Each night we came back to our belongings neatly arranged for us, along with special additions to our room such as a teddy with our initials on it. This was all beyond our expectations, and made our stay very special. Although we found that Seminyak wasn’t the area for us, this didn’t matter when we were staying at such a special hotel. We would definitely recommend the Oberoi, Bali!

Uniquely beautiful place. Very clean and full of plants, in harmony with nature and the ocean. Incredible service from very kind people and wonderfully delicious food. Highly recommend.🌸

It serves the exact purpose of our last station in Seminyak. Perfectly located in the middle of shopping street with the most beautiful beach front I’ve ever seen! The sound of waves which you can hear across all facilities is pleasurably soothing! You wouldn’t want to miss the sunset as it has the most exquisite view up front the hotel. From the moment you walk-in the entrance, you are greeted with big smiles and great welcome! Rooms are spacious, it gives you the Balinese design with a hint of vintage hotels. Breakfast is nice with different varieties.
