We just spent another seven wonderful days at Hilton Playa Del Carmen Adults Only All Inclusive Resort. This was our second stay and once again was amazing. The facilities are well kept and clean. There is always maintenance being performed to keep things top notch. I believe preventative maintenance directly reflects the type of service to expect. Speaking of service, the staff is amazing and always willing to go out of their way for you. A few staff members we would like to highlight are Eric our amazing waiter who worked our side of the pool. Also Alejandro at the beach he made us a special drink every afternoon at 3pm. Both exceeded our expectations for the second time here and were excellante. We also have to mention Alejandra at the pool who was also great. The concierges at the pool are wonderful and Yasmin went above and beyond again during this visit. The entertainment staff was very hard working and kept people occupied with fun activities. The breakfast staff was amazing and Dimitri, Miguel and Pablo treated us like VIP’s when we arrived each morning. Finally, Deysi Gomez our housekeeper made our room feel elegante. I cannot wait to see mi amigos, and amigas again.

Our recent stay at the Hilton Playa del Carmen was fantastic. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a true luxury experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from the friendly front desk team to the incredible waitstaff at the restaurants. The food was excellent, the drinks were top-tier, and the beach and pool areas were perfect for relaxation. Our suite was spotless, spacious, and had a breathtaking view. Housekeeping kept everything immaculate, and the little details—like turn-down service and stocked mini-bar made the experience feel even more special. The only downside? The other guests. Unfortunately, many travelers here seemed rude, entitled, and generally unfriendly. It’s a shame because the resort itself is so welcoming, yet some of the visitors didn’t seem to share that same energy. That being said, the Hilton Playa del Carmen itself is outstanding, and we would absolutely return, hopefully with a more considerate crowd next time!

Our experience was pretty great overall: amazing service (super kind staff), rooms were spacious but uninspiring, food was plentiful but keep your expectations realistic (especially if you’re a foodie), great evening entertainment, and super close to the city where you can spend time walking around, try something local, shop, etc. My major issue was with the pool—it’s a very small area and there a hundreds of people in it at all times. Hundreds. The pool area is precious real estate for which people compete. For this reason I would not return. Too crammed and not relaxing…definitely not luxury.

The reason why I took 1 star away. We got asked several times a day to update our dinner. But the staff are fantastic. And unfortunately the hotel is quiet right now so they close the buffet for dinner. But several restaurant on the resort. But all the servers at the buffet are the best one. They are kind and friendly. Specially this 3 guys. We really going to miss them. We told them today’s was our last day here and they got a little surprise for us.

We have just come home from a two week stay. Staff are so accommodating, super nice and so fun! Food was good, atmosphere was great. We loved that there was a quiet pool, so serene and lovely to escape and relax. The rooms were clean and very updated. Our only feedback would be to give some thought to your entertainment. Maybe add some fabric in the ceiling of the lobby so we can hear what they are saying. The echo was ridiculous and we felt bad that no one could understand a word they said. If you weren't sitting directly across from the band i the lower bowl, you missed most of the show. The Ruby band were the best performers by far. We enjoyed the entertainment, just a few tweaks would make it better!
