5 Stars – An Unforgettable Experience at Luxury Akumal From the moment we arrived, Luxury Akumal exceeded every expectation. The environment is absolutely stunning—lush, serene, and beautifully maintained. The service was impeccable: attentive, personalized, and always delivered with a warm smile. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant team, everyone made us feel like truly honored guests. Miguel from guest services was exceptional. He checked in on us regularly and with genuine care. His hospitality, along with the warmth of the entire staff, made our stay feel not just luxurious, but deeply welcoming. If you’re a tennis player—or hoping to become one—Daniel is an incredible tennis coach. No matter your skill level, his lessons are both fun and instructive. They were also a great way to meet and connect with other resort guests. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and be treated with five-star care, Luxury Akumal is it. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

This is our 4th visit and we still absolutely love it. The lovely Patricia laid our table with a surprise on our last evening meal in the buffet. She is one of the most happiest people we have met and we will miss her dearly. Always there with a smile. We are also looking forward to our breakfast with Luis who we met many moons ago, and he still remembers us. I’m sure there are many other waiters/waitresses, but there are too many to mention all of them ❤️❤️

Our concierge, Carolina , was very helpful. Israel, Manuel, Lorenzo our drivers ( I forgot the names of the other ones) are very nice. Daniel, the tennis instructor is great! He gave me good advices when we played pickleball. We had great dinner in different restaurants! The best of the best are Katok, Alux , Don Pablo and Fritos del Mar! Thank you for making my holiday memorable!

We have been to multiple all inclusive resorts across the Caribbean and this one rates high and would recommend it to anyone looking for great vacation stay. Francisco (Pancho) in front desk help us out with room upgrade for our party of 26!!! Yuum Buffet’s food selection and quality was excellent. Jose was our usual waiter. He was super great!

This is our 14th time at Akumal Gran Bahia Principe. We don't holiday anywhere else. The staff are amazing, so helpful and accommodating. Huge variety of food, with themed nights with staple favourites for the picky eaters (our picky eater included). The entertainment is so fun, the rooms are perfect. The pools and lounge areas are so clean and well spaced. We will be back as black band wearers next year! Book it for your first, next and last Mexico trip x
