If you choose to go all inclusive, the programme generally consists of breakfast (8am to 10.30am), lunch (1pm to 3pm) and dinner (7pm to 9.30pm), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served from 11am to 10pm (except during meal times).

First and foremost, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast is delicious and has plenty to offer, and changes slightly each day. The room is modern, super clean, and spacious. The only issue is the soundproofing is not amazing, so the street can be a tad noisy. The location is unbeatable, and has underground parking which is incredibly convenient. The pool area is very nice too. We didn’t try the spa. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Funchal.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff were lovely and helpful, breakfast was good, the room big enough and the beds very comfortable. The location was great not to have to drive to dinner every night: a short walk or taxi trip could take you to great restaurants in Funchal. However, there are some details that make me knock a star off: - annoying parking to hotel transition - bad soundproofing in the room. We could sometimes hear our neighbours, the people in the corridor, and mostly the street - the light system needs to be rethought. The lights under the bed turned on randomly, which was annoying in the night - AC needs to be fixed: it was either too cold or too hot, hard to get it right For the price we paid, I would not give this hotel five stars.

Vine is my happy place, modern, great restaurant on the roof, bar there too, great for evening drinks and a snack. Lino is a fabulous hard working barman, as too others, next to the pool it's a nice setting, however the bar stools need to be improved, very uncomfortable for me. Oysters are great, fresh, sweet and chewy...l did not rate the humid, l found it poor to my taste, lacked flavour and body, but drinks and service very good as to the ambiance....it's more an adult place, not really suitable for children.

We loved everything about our experience here. The staff service is amazing and the location is perfect. Walking distance to all the main attractions. There is free underground parking which was ideal having hired a car. The room sizes were big. The pool is a lovely temperature and the spa has a jacuzzi and steam room which is free to use. They also have water machines on every floor to refill the reusable water bottle they provide in every room. The machine has both still and sparking water. Breakfast was also delicious, a range of fruits, Pastries and hot food. Service is great. I'd definitely recommend staying here to anyone considering a stay in Maderia.

Rooftop bar is to die for. Great views, great service and choice of drinks and with prices to match but we thought absolutely worth it. Everything about this place is great and staff super friendly and when making a cocktail take their time. Great experience will be back again for sure.
