VIK Hotel San Antonio

My wife and l had a very pleasant ,10 night stay at the Vik San Antonio 02-12 January. The location,staff,and the hotel itself were all very nice, nice food and good entertainment. Negative reviews seem to focus on the advanced ages of most of the clients but although l fit into that category l found it was a nice mix of ages including plenty of young children just after Christmas. People need to read the reviews before they book and not trash the hotel because of it's clients ages. We had a great time and will be returning.

My fiance and I stayed here last week. We actually changed our hotel last minute as La Geria had some works being carried out and I didn't want to risk any noise disturbance whilst on holiday. The VIK San Antonio is absolutely beautiful, the staff are attentive and courteous. The food was absolutely brilliant and delicious, so much choice and great tasting. The pool area is stunning, you can hear the waves on the beach from your room. The daytime activities were great.We loved it and we'll be back next December. Thank you VIK.

A really enjoyable holiday, location is wonderful and all the hotel staff were really friendly and welcoming! A special Thank You to Lars on Reception who assisted us after we got home as we had left an item behind and we had to get a courier to bring it home for us, Lars gave us some advice. Overall we had a great experience and hope to return some day.

A bit disappointing that no kettle no fridge aloud to be used ( for safety reasons 😕 😕🤨) what kind of safety reasons they talking about i don't know we've been in 100 places and didn't have such issues. Apart of that hotel not to bad but definitely not 4 stars. Food was very good. Thanks to all staff for their work.

Arrival room was ready, was AI booked via agent through hotel. Room nice, corridors are like the scenes from the shining. Lifts always worked. No sunbed wars we saw. I was very ill on day 3 from food. Hotel need to ensure hand sanitizers are filled and used by guests. A lot of the food wasn't up to temperature. This should be checked constantly. Didn't find staff particularly friendly, evening cocktail younger staff were friendlier. Old guy at cocktail bar never broke a smile entire week. View is great but you can't get into the sea from here, it's bordered by dangerous rocks but interesting crabs to see. Id give this hotel 3* for food. There is a hairdresser but don't go by prices on door, ask for a quote. It was very expensive. This hotel is for older guests as in 70 plus not for children. Older teens might be ok, but prob would be bored. Evening entertainment isn't aimed at British. Spanish are more catered for. Our room was very clean but a change of sheets would have been nice. We didn't want aircon on so we had doors open at night. In Feb that was fine. It's a windy part of the island. There is doctors nearly opposite & shops, restaurants further up. There is a spar left and right as you come out of hotel, best place to get cigarettes if you want any. Hotel lacks atmosphere and food seriously needs looking at. Id recommend half board only. Food is not up to standard and many tables are reserved. Not ideal for disabled people. The area is safe but I didn't rate the hotel as a whole.
