Disappointing Experience at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek
Our experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory, especially considering the high cost of nearly $1,000 for our stay. Here are the main issues we encountered:
1. Special request ignored: I made a specific request for a room with a lake view to enjoy the fireworks, but this was not accommodated. I traveled with my wife and two children, and it was incredibly disappointing to open the window, excitedly telling my kids to enjoy the view, only for them to see the parking lot instead.
2. Lack of basic supplies: There were no extra blankets for the sofa bed, and towels were insufficient. Housekeeping had to enter the room three times in a single day to provide the missing items.
3. Limited water supply: We were only given two bottles of water for a four-day stay, which is unacceptable.
4. Room condition: The carpet appeared dirty and old, something that should never happen in a hotel of this standard.
5. Lack of staff: When I expressed my concerns to the manager, I was told that they didn’t have enough staff because many had quit during the holiday season. While I understand the challenges of the situation, it is unacceptable for guests to pay full price, including all fees, when the service and experience fall so far below expectations.
6. Value for money: The price does not match the quality of services provided. Additionally, the plans offered by Wyndham and its chain are extremely expensive, and the hotel’s maintenance feels more like owning a physical property rather than staying in a well-kept establishment.
In summary, this hotel fails to meet even the minimum standards of quality and service expected for the price paid. I would not recommend this place and will think twice before trusting the Wyndham chain in the future.

Great hotel for stay with kids.
Hotel was awesome with bunk beds available. There are pools for days! Lots of variety and kid friendly pools.
The lake at the centre of the resort is awesome for an after-diner walk and a great spot to see the Epcot fireworks.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Will be staying here again if we are staying off Disney.
Great spot!

We traveled to this hotel from OKC with three kids 5 and under. We didn’t get into our room until 2 hours later. Everyone who was supposed to check in at 4p were in the lobby waiting on a room. A lady had apparently been waiting since 1p. They said they were waiting on the final housekeeping inspection before we could get into our rooms and kept saying unknown ETA when asked. When we walked into our room the carpet was dirty and wet. Apparently the fridge was leaking and they sent someone to take a look but waited til the next day to go fix it and to dry up the carpet. By that time, the carpet was already dry. The toilet had poop stains around the toilet seat. At this point I’m questioning the cleanliness of the housekeeping staff. The hotel said they were sold out of rooms for the day and weren’t able to change my room. They said housekeeping would come to my room everyday. Apparently, housekeeping only makes your beds using the same sheets, gives you new towels and takes out the trash (nothing more or less). They said they wouldn’t do a deep clean until day 3 of your stay. They finally moved me into a different room on day 3/4. The selection of restaurants and gift shop sucks. The food and items in this hotel is overly priced. There is only one pool in this hotel and you’d get sent to the hotel next door to get in more pools. The best thing about this hotel was the location and the valet employees. I’ll never book with them again.

Beautiful quiet scenic resort. Many restaurants onsite which was a bonus. Hotel room was nearly perfect, loved the fine linens, comfort (mattress could be updated but I slept fine), cleanliness of everything, wall A/C dial, nice shower and water pressure, renovated room was beautiful. There are so many beautiful pools and activities, mini golf, walk paths… heard booms saw Epcot fireworks-bonus! Great hotel staff. Thank you Leo for a great check-in experience, we appreciate your attention, professionalism, and personality. We will return soon.

Pros: The location is great, with easy directions to the nearby Disney parks.
Cons: The experience felt overrated for the price paid. Parking should be free, but it isn't. The restaurants, especially the buffet, were overpriced—charging $40 per person with no discounts for children, which is surprising for families of four or more. Given this, it would have been nice to offer guests a warm croissant or a baked cookie or brownie upon arrival. I would have given a five-star rating, but my expectations were not met. Additionally, we encountered issues with the parking gate; each time we left, the gate malfunctioned, requiring us to pay even though the parking fee was already included in our overall statement. Shower water was very cold, not warm at all. Refrigerator inside room barely was cool. Rooms are ok & very basic...
