We had the most fabulous room at this hotel, complete with private pool and private beach. This was a huge plus. The cleaning staff led by Moe were first class and, outside of the main buffet restaurant, the food and service staff were also very good. We had a few issues with the constant thumping music that was apparently entertaining some of the guests, plus the construction work happening very nearby was somewhat disruptive (to be fair, the whole of RAK is pretty much a construction site and the hotel gave us a discount because of the proximity of construction to our room). If you’re looking for clear, warm seas with plenty of options for kids and a few calmer spaces, this comes recommended. That said, without paying for the luxury of privacy, it would have felt quite crowded and noisy, especially in the kids areas and the main buffet restaurant.

Great location. Terrible check-in and check-out system. They seem understaffed… once checked in though, very relaxing and enjoyable. Rooms are okay, but tiny. I would go back to the island but not this hotel purely because check-in took us 3+ hours, and check-out 1hour+. An easy fix, have two receptions to cope with the volume of people, or higher more staff during peak periods. Beach bar had great service though and the young lads were very good waiters. All inclusive package is good and worth it.

A disappointing trip. I have never had such disappointing stay anywhere in the UAE prior to this. The check in was awful, was slow and painful. Then we went to have lunch at the main restaurant with our friends who were overseas guests there. The food was AWFUL! Cold and tasteless. My breakfast the next day was just as bad. I asked for fresh eggs, and the chef pointed me to a plate of ready made eggs soaked in oil. The sofa in the room was dirty, as was the chair. I had booked a sea view room but it was blocked by the arches of the building. When we got to the pool there were no towels. The gentleman there said they have a shortage of towels. How are you running a resort without enough towels? Bed time there was loud music coming up to the rooms from the bar downstairs when I called the service desk, she had no idea what I was referring to and said she would send security to me. Security never came and three calls later I was informed they were escalating it. The staff were clearly overworked. The fact that I went there to meet my friends was the only reason I did not check out and drive back home.

As a family of four, we had a fun filled week and stayed for 6 nights. Positives: - Food - the quality at the buffet was very good especially the a la carte restaurants which had lots of varieties and was fine dining. If you book ultra all inclusive like we did you can order almost anything from the restaurants and bars. - Customer Service - the service was excellent everywhere, everyone was smiling and attentive which makes a huge difference. - Rooms - sizes were very good, large beds and was overall a good quality. I would say it’s more 4 start by Dubai standards. - Check in - was pretty straight forward, we arrived early and had to wait for our room which was expected but could use the facilities and lunch after midday. Negatives: - Cleanliness - we stayed 6 nights and not once were our sheets changed, we checked everyday. Also, it was partial cleaning on most days such as replacing toilet tissue but not taking the rubbish, or replacing the towels fully. Overall pool cleaning is very poor, not once did I observe pool cleaning especially when the dirt in the pools was visible. Usually, they would clean the pools or ask for some time to clean the pools. They didn’t and the pools were dirty. - Sun Loungers - their policy states that sun loungers can be occupied for two hours maximum however it’s not enforced which means people race in the morning to put their towels down in the morning and occupy the sun loungers for the full day even if they are not at the lounger or the pool. It’s simply unfair for folks that just want to use the pool for a short time but have no chance in finding a lounger. - Ice Cream - there is one option for an hour in the day to pick some ice lollies for kids. Even then it’s poor quality ice lollies as a race against time. Given it’s a family resorts with lots of young families it’s extremely poor. Also, even if you have ultra all inclusive you have to pay for smoothies which is ridiculous given the amount of money you have paid for the top package. - Ultra All Inclusive and communications - more than a few times i was informed I would have access to certain items as I had paid for ultra all inclusive. However, the communications and policies don’t seem to be understood by their own staff, one would say you order from Anchor bar and when I went to order I was told I had to pay and then I rang reception and they said I could. Lots of back and forth on similar topics which becomes tiring and frustrating. Also, ultra all inclusive states the mini bar would be refilled but wasn’t and I just gave up calling them to do so. On the last day, the leaflet states that UAI guest can use the facilities until 3pm, again I was told on the last day I couldn’t it, it’s things like these that go on and on. Overall, we had fun and enjoyable stay. The reasons I’m being very specific is for the hotel to be aware and take steps to fix them. If they do they will be a 5 star resort and attract many return guest and visitors. At this stage I wouldn’t return, there are too many options in Dubai, it’s high competitions, therefore, I will try somewhere else and not return.

Great hotel, definitely would recommend we didn't have any major issues, the minor issue like the hairdryer over heating and the safe not working were resolved instantly when raised. Friendly staff always someone available when needed. We came as a family and I feel it's very family friendly. The options for food is not limited and is tasty. Only downside was space for our suitcases and clothing, as a family of 4 we could have benefited from more space. Also the all-inclusive is not like other places to sum it up, I would say it's full board but with drinks as there are certain places within the vicinity that are not included and we have to go get our drinks they are not provided like many other places in the fridge when we arrived or topped up everyday. Loved the location and the views are amazing especially from our balcony!

The main building and rooms are very well fitted, however, in the room the air conditioning thermostat didn’t work properly, also connecting rooms’ door was jammed, and the night light was blinking, all things that should’ve been checked and fixed before a visitor has to discover them and ask for them to get fixed one by one (which the hotel did). Check-in was not as smooth as expected from such a luxury hotel, there was confusion over the room numbers. The swimming pool has many, many mosaic tiles missing leaving sharp edges in the gaps, the walkways around the pool are a pain to walk on barefoot as there are a lot of dislodged sharp pebbles from the pavement itself. The fake rocks around the pool are an eye sore and a hazard for the kids (the lifeguards constantly busy for this reason). The service at the pool bar is poor, the bartenders do their job but you aren’t getting luxury service, you’re getting grocery store service. The Kids’ club was good and well attended. The breakfast buffet experience was good. The Beachhouse and Mekong restaurants food and service are great. The mangrove forest is nice. The landscaping leaves a lot to be desired, it can be a lot nicer at no extra cost at a resort of this caliber, just not a well designed planting layout and kept below par, they’re the kind of gardens you would find at a cheap resort, the manhole covers are an eye sore. The staff mean well, but this was not a five star experience at all.

Stunning resort! The rooms and service are brilliant. The restaurants are very lovely. The beach is great. My only pet peeve was that the main pool was very shallow and the way to enter the pool was a bit slippery. Other than that, great all round.

Stunning beach, delicious food, and a cheerful staff. The perfect place for a quick family getaway from the city. Mekong was extremely delicious, and we had a great time thanks to the friendliness of the staff. The pool is decent, and the rooms were exceptional. The whole area is beautiful and well designed. A beautiful place to go especially when the weather is nice. Highly recommended.

Hi, So our team stayed at this hotel. I would love to say anything positive about it but I really can not. At the same time I wonder how it has been rated so good. The rooms (mine and the ones of my colleagues were dirty. Big stains on the carpet, dirty shower, dust). The breakfast tastes very low level for a so called 5 star resort. Room service - well as there is no hotel u could think they have a proper one - closes at 2am. At midnight u can order 10% of they actually show on the menu. (No cocktails or other food aside of fast food). In addition to that it’s located so far out - that u can’t walk anywhere else. If I would have had to pay for this myself - I would have left the first day. If u read this - trust me - i been to many hotels due to my work - this is one of worst.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. The facilities were well kept. Breakfast was very good with live stations. We were all inclusive - lunch and dinner could have had better variety. For the drinks included in the bar, there were no cocktails included - would be nice to have a few cocktails/mocktails. Would be nice to have fresh juices as well. No snacks included apart from the three meals. The beach was nice but small and away from the property. Have to cross the street to get to it - there is a buggy service available however. Overall we very much enjoyed the stay and had a great time. Thank you for a lovely stay

We went with family to this beautiful resort and its such a lovely place to be. The rooms are awesome and best thing was we booked superior room and they upgraded us to suite. That was a great gesture on the employees part. The swimming pool was neat and we all enjoyed swimming. The only drawback is you have to cross the road and then access the beach which generally all resorts have in their property itself. We loved the restaurant there which served great Lebanese food. The buffet breakfast was lavish. In all I recommend this resort to everyone..

I expected the hotel to be much better overall. The rooms were OK, similar to what you get at a medium tier hotel. The furniture is old, the carpet felt dirty, the furniture also was pretty aged, there was no dental kit or condensed milk available in room. Minibar was empty.. The pool closes at sunset. These are small things which has damped the experience. Location is excellent though.

Amazing experience!!! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable especially Akas Zahid. The rooms were spacious, and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for sightseeing, and the views from our room were breathtaking. We loved the variety at the breakfast buffet, and the pool area was clean and relaxing. A great place for a vacation or a getaway. The rooms are nice with a considerable walking distance from other facilities like the restaurant and the pool. They have an entertainment show every night, and a lot of games to play next to the beach (volleyball, ping pong, huge chess...). The food isn't that good and shall be improved. The staff are very nice and helpful. The cleanliness of the rooms can be improved as well since the cleaners just wipe the floor, they don't really clean the room or even change the bedsheets.

I loved the view at this hotel. Stayed here on October 23rd. They have a beach and a pool tho I didn’t get a chance to swim since I was only there for a quick work trip. The room was clean, breakfast was tasty and the staff were super attentive. Overall, a really nice stay! 😌

We had the worst all inclusive package experience with this hotel. Customer service is also very bad especially the front office and bar attendants which are rude and grumpy. Toilet has a leakage too so its all wet continously. Front office staff are very grumpy since the day of our check-in. Unhelpful and very snob. Extra bed which we paid came at 4pm although we were there since 1pm. I have to follow up 4x before the act. All inclusive is a total waste. Food in the bar is chargeable and apparently drinks the following day is no longer included in the so called ALL INCLUSIVE that we paid. I completely understand if they have served us premium drinks - but those are the cheapest in the market. Bartenders are rude and judgmental, they asked us every now and then but other nationality they don't bother. They are also unhygienic. Serving drinks with bare hands and no gloves. Scooping the ice from the box using the cups directly while holding other items in their hands which is disgusting. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL! Will be the FIRST AND LAST WITH THIS HOTEL! BEWARE!!!

In the first experience of anything, the first impression is the most important. The reception staff were polite, welcoming, smiling, and this is very important. The receptionist Hazem was wonderfully hospitable, since we arrived early, he upgraded our reservation directly so that we would not have to wait until check-in time. The location is great, close to the sea, well serviced, they have good options for rooms and accommodations. The room cleanliness is poor and the service is slow. We asked for the sheets to be replaced immediately, the room to be cleaned, and the towels to be replaced. Only the sheets were replaced and the towels remained the same. We asked for water to the room, they provided water the first day but the next day they did not respond to our request.

I stayed at the hotel because of the attractive price. As for the location, it is far from the city center, so the hotel resort does not compensate for this distance. The hotel itself is modeled on large hotel complexes with rather low-rise buildings. On the plus side I can count cleanliness, organization in public areas as well as rooms. The food served did not taste good to me, while one could not complain about the small choice. Very nice, wide and sandy beach where you can relax. On the big minus deserves concrete between the buildings, where it is impossible to stand even for a moment, because the temperature hits your head from this concrete. The hotel is average, while if you appreciate the low price you will be satisfied.

We had such amazing stay with our friends on this property. Everything was perfect! From smooth check in with the nicest front desk people to the pools, restaurants and huge rooms. We stayed in 2 queen room and it was probably the largest room I have ever stayed, and very tastefully styled with huge balcony. The service around the pool was excellent. My kids enjoyed kids and teens club a lot, they didn’t want to leave. I would highly suggest staying at this hotel.

Amazing new hotel. The rooms and the whole hotel is furnished with beautiful furniture. The rooms are large enough with comfortable beds. The food is of a high standard using quality ingredients. Everything is very tasty. The beach is clean and quite long. Four pools are great for relaxing. But what is absolutely the best - is the service and human approach. All of staff are friendly, smiling and create such a total relaxation. We felt like in paradise. We would love to return and hope to see everyone again. We already miss you very much. Thank you all so much for a wonderful holiday and we are looking forward to the next one.

We had a fantastic stay at Rixos Bab Al Bahr with our family! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our every need was met. We were especially impressed with the all-inclusive as it didn't effect the quality of services and food. The hotel offers brilliant amenities and a great location, but lacks that "wow" factor you'd expect from a 5-star resort. We arrived late at night, and while we were initially told we’d received an upgrade, we found it was just a corner suite. Disappointingly, our children’s beds weren’t made, and when we asked about this at reception, housekeeping simply dropped off the bedding and left, which was unexpected. After raising our concerns, we were offered a genuine upgrade to a two-bedroom suite, which was spacious but showed signs of wear, with chipped bathroom tiles, stained carpets, and we had to request fresh towels daily. On my birthday, there was no acknowledgment from the hotel despite my mother informing them beforehand, which was a missed opportunity for a memorable touch. On a positive note, the hotel grounds and communal areas are very well-maintained, and the staff are fantastic overall. The variety of food and drinks was great, though the service in the main buffet (Seven Heights) was inconsistent; in our 10-day stay, we were only offered drinks once. While the pools were enjoyable, the shortage of sunbeds was a drawback, especially given the hotel’s capacity. Weekends were particularly busy, and while the main buffet restaurant became hectic, we were fortunate to reserve tables at some of the bookable restaurants, which all delivered excellent meals. In summary, while the hotel has several strong points, there are areas for improvement that could enhance the guest experience significantly.

We been in to many hotel and resort in UAE and one of my a friend recommended Rixos Bab Al Bahr. About an hour from Dubai and as time as we steep we feel the warm welcome of Rixos. The view,wives, atmosphere was amazing. We would like to thanks the staff for our early check in I can say that the room was clean and spacious good for family. About the food and drinks at the restaurant 10 out of 10 it’s was delicious and mesmerizing in our eyes. Rixos has a lot to offer Entertainment activities, live shows , live band , sports activities, kids club and more. We appreciate the efforts and dedications of all staff special mention Mr. Ahmed having sport activities very professional in handling water polo, afternoon beach volleyball. He encouraged everyone to join. One of the best friendly person we’ve meet. We stay for a days and I would say that this is not enough and surely we will come back. Thank you Rixos for a wonderful weekend experience.

Amazing Stay! Highly Recommend! I recently stayed at this hotel, and my experience was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The room was spotless, well-appointed, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect, close to major attractions yet peaceful and quiet at night. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet was diverse and fresh every morning. Overall, I had an amazing time and will definitely be returning. Hotel is good but not luxury as I expected. Foods are okay, shows are okay. They have very good mini club. But I am not happy. Because there is contraction on infinity pool so they made the pool for +16 which is between hotel rooms and restaurants. They dont let us walk through there with our kids. We are walking around all pools as a round to reach the restaurants. Most of the time I have to carry my 4 years old daughter because it is long way for her. I spoke with the reception but they told us that it is management’s decision. We asked them to speak with management but they told us that they were on a meeting and they could arrange a meeting with us. We are not in the hotel for business why I should arrange a meeting with management. The management should find us and try to speak with us. So I am really unhappy with the management and reception point of view. This shows how they care about their customers even with a basic occasion.

There’s a great playground pool for kids, while the other pool, reserved for guests 16 and older, provides a more relaxed vibe. I particularly loved how they serve delicious food and drinks directly to your long chair, complete with a little table for added comfort—a small touch that made the experience even more indulgent. In the evening, there’s a variety of dining options, and I had the pleasure of trying the Japanese restaurant. The food was simply outstanding, from the presentation to the flavors. It exceeded all expectations and was a highlight of my stay. The room I stayed in was huge, about 80 square meters, and directly faced the sea, offering an incredible view. Waking up to that scenery was an unforgettable experience. Overall, the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah is the epitome of luxury and relaxation, and I can’t wait to return for another exceptional stay!

My husband booked a weekend away at this hotel for my birthday and also paid for me to have a massage. This is my first time staying at this hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. Overall, this was a very positives experience, we had a warm welcome when we arrived, the room we booked (suite 1036) was spacious clean and had beautiful decor. The Japanese restaurant was wonderful where staff went above and beyond. It was also very child-friendly with delicious food options for kids and polite, friendly staff. For breakfast, the staff were exceptional at catering to our resquests. The customer relations is great, where they ensured i was made to feel listened to after a poor experience with my therapist. The hotel management and spa supervisor were very attentive and I left feeling valued. We are considering coming back for Christmas/New Year's as I feel reassured that if I encounter any issues, it is dealt with in the best way possible and I'm guaranteed a positive experience.

Best decision to celebrate my birthday lunch at The Shore House restaurant despite an hour and a half drive from Fujairah. It was a hidden gem that offers luxury, warmth and welcoming ambiance, along with scrumptious food and drinks. From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our cravings and not to mention the generous portions! The food preparation and presentation blew us away! Must try especially the steak. Big thanks to Mr. Joel and staff for making my day memorable.

I recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton and had an amazing experience, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by the hostesses, ( Gupal and Mario) . They were incredibly helpful, polite, and caring, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm and attentive service truly made a difference. However, I did find that the breakfast could use some improvement. The food quality did not meet the high standards set by the rest of the hotel. Despite this, my overall stay was fantastic, and I would highly recommend the Ritz Carlton for its outstanding service.

Horrible hotel and management. You get a service of a 2 star not 5 star place. There is construction noise all over the hotel and you can’t relax at the beach. Manager doesn’t care despite multiple complaints. Staff is slow and make mistakes when you place an order at the beach restaurant. Really don’t recommend this place. Bad management, bad vibe and bad service. Very disappointed and will never come back here.

The pool was a highlight for us, offering a perfect place to relax and unwind amidst the stunning desert surroundings. My kid had an absolute blast at the Kids Club, which had plenty of fun activities to keep him entertained. Breakfast each morning was a delightful experience with a fantastic variety of delicious options to choose from and the staff went above and beyond to make our breakfast special—especially Danish, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Very nice hotel with a great concept. It shows the age a bit but still a nice experience. The rooms are huge, designed in a nice way with a private pool. The rooms are close to each other, so don't expect full privacy. Also, if you are neighbouring with kids, expect the noises. They provide a variety of activities for all ages. Our comment is that the pool requires proper cleaning as the grouting is becoming green.

This was such an amazing few days, if I could give this hotel 12 stars I would. We went for our combined wedding anniversary/husbands birthday, and whilst of course I told the hotel this in advance, hoping that we might get a cake:-)…..every single day we had a surprise….whether it was rose petals and towel art on the bed, personal congratulations notes from the housekeeping staff, cakes every evening in the restaurant, birthday card signed with local greetings at breakfast, balloons in the Spa….. The villa was fabulous, our views of the desert, our private pool, the size of the bathroom. But what really stands out at this hotel is the staff. They are all absolutely exceptional, they all introduce themselves, at every level of job, and unless they are good actors, they all seem to love working here. We went to the sister Ritz on the beach for dinner one evening, and whilst the staff were pleasant, the quality of service provided, and genuine warmth, was chalk and cheese compared to the Ritz Al Wadi. Charith our butler was outstanding, as were the many staff we met across the resort from buggy drivers, to breakfast hostesses, to housekeeping, to Spa therapists. We had the BEST time, and literally cannot wait to go back. A big thank you to Aiden the excellent GM and his whole exceptional team.
