One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food. The buffet offered an impressive selection, from fresh salads to international dishes. In the à la carte restaurants Sea, Fire and Salt and Zafran, every meal felt like a small culinary event. The team at the hotel truly made a difference. Dylan, in particular, deserves a special mention – always smiling, helpful, and making sure everyone felt welcome. Our room was comfortable and offered plenty of space to unwind, although the cleaning could be a bit more detailed in places. The beach was just what we needed – calm, scenic, and perfect for a swim or simply relaxing. Pro tip: take water shoes for the rocky areas! The location is wonderfully peaceful, away from the crowds. For those who like to explore, renting a car is a great idea. In summary, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to relax and enjoy good food in a friendly atmosphere

We spent a weekend at Anantara Iko Mauritius and it was the perfect getaway. 🌴🌻 The room was nice and comfortable. The food was simply delicious with some great variety. The staff was super friendly and genuinely welcoming! ✨ The spa was relaxing - a special thanks to Mrs Kamna for the wonderful massage. 🌺 A heartfelt thank you to Nicolas, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly memorable. His professionalism and kindness really stood out. 🤍 Overall, it was an amazing experience and we would highly recommend this hotel!! ☀️🌴

I loved the resort and the staff were helpful and friendly. We had an upgrade, the suite was spacious with an amazing sea view. Breakfast was multicultural & delicious. The location was close to the airport. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the free water activities due to weather. Thank you so much Eman (the resort supervisor) for being lovely & your welcoming personality. I just would recommend to add a long mirror with overhead lighting. I strongly recommend it & definitely would come back again. 😍😉👌🏻

Disappointing stay – far from the standards of a 5-star hotel We stayed at the IKO Anantara Hotel and were unfortunately very disappointed by the overall quality of service, which was far below what one would expect from a five-star establishment. From the very beginning, our stay started off poorly. We arrived at 5:00 p.m., even though check-in was supposed to be at 2:00 p.m., and our room was still not ready. We had to wait about twenty minutes at the bar before finally being able to check in. The following day, after leaving at 4:00 a.m. and returning 12 hours later, we were unpleasantly surprised to find that our room had not been cleaned — the bed was still unmade, the towels unchanged — and the same issue occurred the next day. In addition, the water in both the shower and the bathtub was only lukewarm, and it was impossible to get truly hot water. We also noticed that several devices in the game room were out of order, such as the PlayStation and the dart game. Overall, we felt that our needs, requests, and feedback were either ignored or superficially acknowledged with unfulfilled promises, particularly from Mr. Nicolas Lespérance, who was in charge of guest relations. We find it unacceptable that a hotel claiming five stars would display so many service and maintenance shortcomings. The only positive points were the breakfast — varied and authentic, living up to the expected standard — the Indian restaurant, which we truly enjoyed, and the daily activity program, which offered a nice variety of tastings and sports sessions. Overall, a disappointing experience, far below our expectations for a hotel of this category.

Pros:1- location is far away from town, quiteand calm and the beach is the best in this resort. 2-free activities, like archery, water sport activities, Kayaking, snorkeling... Cons: 1-The service...-we found the door of our room was opened, the housekeeper left it open after she/her finished from cleaning the room! We spoke to the reception twice and what she said : she will contact with the housekeeping to see..and will inform us after, of course nobody informed us. -we made a reservation at Saffron restaurant yesterday at 7:30 pm (through the app), reception called us and told us the available appointment either at 8:00 pm or 8:30 pm. We chose at 8:00, and came at 7:45 pm, she told us it's not possible at 8:00! Maybe after 8:30!!! 2-the food, is not tasty! The only restaurant that makes good food is Saffron, unfortunately in this resort! 3-we went to Salt and sea restaurant, we ordered an half grilled lobster. Cost (1000 rupees ). In the receipt it was 2000 rupees! Luckily we noticed that and she changed it. 4-limited activities/events.
