I don’t usually leave reviews, but after the utter disappointment and frustration I endured during my stay, I feel it’s important to share this with others.
From the very first moment I entered the room, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this hotel. The floor was dirty, the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, and there were stains on the sheets. I immediately informed the staff, and they promised to have the room cleaned. However, not o and frustration I endured during my stay, I feel it’s important to share this with others.
From the very first moment I entered the room, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority at this hotel. The floor was dirty, the bathroom had not been properly cleaned, and there were stains on the sheets. I immediately informed the staff, and they promised to have the room cleaned. However, not only did they fail to clean it, but it also seemed like things started disappearing. Items that I had left in my room were gone after housekeeping had visited.
To add insult to injury, the bed was never even made. I’m not sure what kind of “service” that is, but it’s certainly not what I paid for. I had expected a certain level of hospitality and cleanliness, but instead, I was met with neglect and dishonesty.
The final straw, however, was the room key that didn’t work. I was forced to go to the administration every single time I needed to get back into my room, which was at least 0.5 miles away from the front desk. Every time I had to trek back and forth to have the key reprogrammed, it became more and more infuriating. And when I finally got back to my room, the situation was still the same—dirty and not even remotely close to what was promised.
It’s absolutely unacceptable to pay for a room and receive this level of disregard. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's frustrating to see such poor management and a total lack of care for guests. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else where you’ll actually be treated with respect and receive a clean, functioning room. This place was an absolute nightmare.

I am extremely disappointed with the misleading information provided at check-in regarding the 7 AM shuttle. We were explicitly told that taking this shuttle would grant us early access to Universal Studios. Based on this, we woke up early and adjusted our plans accordingly, only to find out that this was completely false. As a result, we waited at the park for two hours with no benefit.
To make matters worse, I called the front desk multiple times for clarification, but no one answered. The concierge tried to transfer me, but there was no response. He mentioned that he would find a solution, but I have yet to receive any follow-up. This lack of communication is unacceptable.
On the same day, when we went to the front desk, we were told there was nothing they could do because there was no manager available. Having worked in hospitality, I’m surprised the staff had no solution to offer when a manager wasn’t there. The next day, we returned and were told again there was nothing they could do.
Additionally, the room was not clean and had a very musty smell. The hotel was painting in the corridors, and there was paint on the floor, even inside our room. The lighting was too harsh, with white lights that gave me a headache.
Overall, my experience was frustrating and disappointing. I would expect much better communication and cleanliness.

I booked a stay at the Avanti palms for a quick weekend getaway in Orlando. It was affordable and the rooms and property looked nice from the photos online. When we arrived and got our room keys it was confusing to find the room and there was construction going on in the building we were staying in which we weren’t told about. Once we got into the actual hotel room, I instantly felt disappointed because it had looked nothing like the photos that were advertised online. The room was not clean and it was very musty. As someone who has very bad allergies, I already was feeling them flare up due to the state of room. It also sounded like our window was open but upon further inspection the window was in fact closed, but you could hear every car passing by clearly. I didn’t feel comfortable staying there with my allergies. The staff was super friendly and refunded me my money and the amenities themself from what I saw are nice. Other than the staff being amazing, I will not be returning.

This was my first time at Avanti Palms Resort and would stay here again. It was priced right, the amenities were nice and the service was excellent. I especially liked Javier from the pool bar and Nianria (not sure how she spells it) from the front desk. The only thing I would change is my room placement. We were in the Tower on the 14th floor and I just could not get comfortable with the elevator and the room height. (Afraid of heights and claustrophobic) The rooms are not "top notch" or super clean but they were fine. I feel the price of the resort and it's amenities made up for it. We had lots of towels, clean bedding, a mini fridge and a microwave everything worked as it should.

I just left this hotel today. I was in the tower, 629 my room. This staff is absolutely wonderful! The management staff down to each and every employee!! The manager on duty today, allowed me & my child a longer leave time due to his illness. She let us check out of our room hours past 11am. How thoughtful. Our room was completely remodeled. The food is crazy for the prices compared to other hotels in the area! It was my 3rd time visiting. Me & my son will be back for 5 day's over the 4th of July.
Give these people a break! It's not the Four Seasons. For the price, and hospitality it's a must visit! YES! It's an enormous hotel. If you get a" moldy"or "bad" room AND it's not a remodel room, they will move you! The remodel rooms are wonderful! They are still at work.
