My husband and I had the most incredible experience and I can't thank the staffs (Jack, Ann, Jimmy) enough for making it so special. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening. The service was prompt, warm, and personalized, making me feel like I was the guest of honor. The staffs truly made my celebration feel extraordinary, and their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. I’m so grateful for their kindness and exceptional service. Our stay at the Banyan Tree Hotel was absolutely incredible! From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in luxury. The hotel’s stunning design and impeccable service made it clear we were in a true 5-star haven.
The warm welcome set the tone for our stay, with refreshments and snacks always available at the main entrance. The staff went above and beyond, upgrading our room for our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The room was spacious and elegant, featuring a massive bathroom with a luxurious bathtub. We especially loved the unique “bath menu,” which allowed us to indulge in a romantic rose bath—an unforgettable experience.
The attention to detail was unmatched. Every day, housekeeping left us delightful treats, adding a personal touch that made us feel so special.
The crown jewel of this hotel, however, is the rooftop bar and restaurant. The breathtaking city views paired with exquisite food and drinks made it the perfect spot to unwind after exploring Bangkok.
We can’t recommend the Banyan Tree Hotel enough. Whether for a honeymoon or just a getaway, this hotel promises an unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to return!

Unfortunately, I am not entirely satisfied with the standards presented by this hotel. The greatest asset is the staff, who contributed to raising my rating to 4 stars.
After a long flight, we checked into the hotel, and the check-in process was quick and polite. However, upon entering our room, we were greeted by a musty odor. The next issue was the bathtub; its bottom was damaged and had sharp edges, posing a risk of injury during bathing. While I appreciated the prompt change of room, I believe such issues should not occur in a 5-star hotel.
Additionally, the room itself showed signs of wear and tear. The furniture was old, and the wardrobes closed with a squeak. The cleanliness was also lacking; the trash bin under the desk was only emptied after two days when I placed it visibly outside. Our room was not vacuumed for three days, and a few sequins that fell from my wife's dress remained on the floor throughout our stay.
On a positive note, the breakfasts and the service were excellent. The Moon Bar and Vertigo Restaurant also deserve great recognition for their nice and helpful staff.
In summary, we always choose 5-star hotels, but so far, the Banyan Tree has been at the bottom of my list, leaving me disappointed. Next time I’m in Bangkok, I will choose a different hotel.

Had a wonderful experience at the moon bar. If you get the chance to meet Poo, I highly recommend it. He was so thoughtful and put lots of effort into the pictures he took of us. The cocktails were top class. Please go enjoy the spectacular view at the Vertigo Too Moon bar 🍸 😊

The service is outstanding - starting even before check-in.
The rooms have a separate living room, which is always pleasant. In the bathroom, the bath foam and bath salts are a touch I had never experienced in another hotel before. The only point of improvement I could see is the plugs - there was none near the bed stand, and the other ones where a bit outdated.
The pool is a rather small and faces north, so sunbathing is a bit challenging - but that would be a plus when the weather is too hot to be out and about in the city.
Location is very near Lumphini park, which is lovely for a morning run, or to enjoy the (many) celebrations organized in the park.
Breakfast is great.
I unfortunately have not tried Vertigo for lack of time but hopefully next time.
